U also can try shield build too..my setup good enough for MP5 (just ignore my pickup radius, u will good with 7 pickup onli)..

bros need some input on the monk i am leveling...what's the ideal atk speed for monk?..though more seem 2 be better but i am gonna be using my gear from my dw wield dh..which provide 10cc from archery..so if i gonna use the gear from my dh for my monk is there a way to up my cc either than nat ring and boots?...or should i stack more ias so it procs more cyclone?..this is my dh for reference http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/bububoo...25/hero/4272031

walao ytd just complete shenlong set and that fist of legend gives me 32+ dps =-=

yup. other than cc from rings (3 is kind of low, 6cc is max), amulet (10 is max), gloves and helm, you should try to get Nat's boot and Reflection to get a set bonus of 7%cc. you can use that for your DH as well. since you already have inna's belt, consider getting Inna Pants... it's really good. you gain IAS and movement speed, and 1%cc, and in set, you gain 130 dex as well.

IAS can increase cyclone, but CC is better than IAS when it comes to generating cyclone.

at least get CD in ur rings and amulet. CD on Nat ring will expensive so focus CD on Amulet and rare ring.. high CD + CC amulet cheap now, unless u need LoH on it also... also play with online calculator more to find/ plan upgrade..ur HP need increase..also u need LoH or Ls, if not how u want to survive on higher MPs..

the problem is always gold haha..gotta farm more then...what fist do u guys recommend?...though some of my frens use shenlong...i read at bnet some ppl say wong kim lau also good because of the lighting damage affix.

omai~ i never get any single piece of gear that can boost DPS that much! nice.

shenlong pair is awesome.
from wat i see, ppl opt for WKL when cant afford shenlong.
a pair of shenlong will also give you +130dex, spirit regen, chance to cast fireball.

also, WKL attribute only restricts to lightning dmg.

Not quite true...

The +5/6% is direct boost..on the weapoin damage. Does not require lighting dmg..

The 15-25% extra to lightning skill only applies to skills whihc uses lightning, ie FoT-

So FoT gets therotically max 31% extra from WKL..and the cyclones will get extra 31% as wel, hence WKL is probably the best off hand gear for a FoT monk.

If you see the prices, a LS OS 9XX DPS WKL with 5/25% damage can cost much more than socketed Shenlongs...

the win thing in WKL the lightning dmg attributes. but that also means i have to stick to FoT + cyclone build in my entire monk gameplay. switching build puts me at a big disadvantage. build diversity is somehow limited.
also, in shenlong pair, one of the glove will always come with IAS (if im not mistaken), to get IAS on WKL with decent stat+socket, the price isn't really worth it IMO.
investing on shenlong, heavily on mainhand, and get a decent offhand, but both socketed, easily grants me the set bonus of 130dex, spirit regen, etc..

getting a pair of good WKL versus a pair of Shenlongs, probably WKL will cost a lot cheaper and does give the same damage outcome comparing if the monk uses FoT+cyclone build. value for money, WKL wins here.
if a monk only equips WKL on offhand, and shenlong on mainhand, it's a huge sacrifice to lose the shenlong bonus stats.

im crazy for IAS so i would naturally opt for shenlong, for my tiny LoH build. 130dex is a lot to be ignored. i wanna hit 3k dex if possible

Yup..agreed on the point that with a WKL..you are stuck with cookie cutter build..standard Fot/cyclone. But the same can be said for shenlongs as well...shenlongs only have 1 random roll..so its if its OS..you cant get LS. So...shenlongs also forces you to go the loH route..which we all know end game pales if compared with LS.

I am not trying to say WKL is better than shenlongs..but WKL has a lot potential end game wise. The + damage goes very far..especially if you weild a black damage weapon (i,e min/max damage afflixes). That is why I dont get why u say socketed shenlongs are more expensive..just search for LS OS WKL..you will be amazed how much they are going for. WKL works best with black damage weapons and will fair poorly with +elemental damage weapons..hence WKL with shenlong is an absolute nono... FYI..my 85K unbuff WKL monk downs MP6 Azmo in 1 minute flat...which some 100k Monk might struggle to do in that time..

to be honest i only started using FoT after i got my shenlongs. it never came across to me to use WKL because of a certain build my monk wants to stick to.

looks like black damage weapon is a big thing, been going around forums and threads, all talks/discussions mentioning black damage + %element dmg gears for dps boost. guess i'm pretty late getting all this info...heh

not really la.. most of my item, i bid them out.
some of them super rare i just BO.

some of my gears are quite cheap considering their market values, thing is have to waste a lot of time waiting/bidding.
just got lucky with loots n sales sometimes..
