I'm having minor difficulty connecting to EU and my US servers. Crapload of PL% along the route. Already reported. I hope they contact me back.

Hi guys, just upgraded to 4MB/s few days ago from 1MB/s.

Before the upgrade, my torrent was able to download at 100 - 120kb/s
After Upgrading, how come it slows down less than 10kb/s. Occationally only 400kb/s. for few minutes.

I am aware of the p2p throttled. But how come 1MB is better than 4MB!!??

i don't think it's your 4Mbps line problem...

these few days i noticed my download speed decreased significantly as well...not sure what's the problem...but I can confirm with you my 4Mbps line also seen reduction in download speed these few days...or at least past 1 week...

You can but the connectivity will be terrible with SNR margin that low

Streamyx works in mysterious way, you might want to check few pages back, we already discussed and dismissed this matter.

Are you saying Streamyx Unthrottled their connection for awhile?
And now they throttled it back?

No such thing, probably a system glitch.

Yes, your snr margin will go lower when you're given higher speed. Lower the SNR margin, higher the rate of disconnection. You can't change your SNR Margin.

Not sure about system glitch but my 1MB connection now throttled down to 10kb. Started around 4 days ago, before that i could get a decent speed on torrents, now everything, even linux distro torrents are down to a slow crawl.

P2P throttle starts few years ago, not few days ago. It's a possibility that system glitch lasted that long. Torrents are still P2P no matter what kind of torrent.

wa...so even changing copper wire or change a new port also unable to increase my SNR margin?
does it means that i have to moved to somewhere else to get better speed?@@

Well that's really shitty since p2p is just tech. Nothing illegal with it.

So far I have experienced sporadic torrent slowdowns but that was like a period of a day or two. This however seems to be persistent.
