I knew this thing will happen one day, it seems that the occurrence of people flying without common sense have been increasing lately since any multi-rotor drone can be flown without learning experience and now it can be bought in any hobby store or mall. Imagine if that Phantom 2 hit by "flyaway" error on GPS he'll be in panic mode.

what i understand... the high-end drones like DJI... manufacturer can issue update that will set NO FLY ZONE, similar to what happened to the White House incident a few weeks back. but i guess depends on how the DCA will with DJI la...
but ya... really lack of common sense to be doing that. in fact, there were some troll accounts being created to make this even worse... just need to google and you can see the (possibly) fake accounts sprouting that is taunting the authorities, etc... |

I new into this hobby. I ordered UDI U818A 2.4GHz 4 CH 6 Axis Gyro RC Quadcopter with Camera + 2GB from Lazada about RM165. It is okay for quadcopter?
Want to ask, it stated it use comes with 500mah 3.7v lipo battery. Can I upgrade any bigger capacity 3.7v lipo battery? if the weight is so so. |

I am planning to get myself a cheap fpv for my cheap quadcopters, can sifu here recommend me one and how to setup? Understand there is fpv receiver, transmitter, camera module and the monitor. How do I get hold if this and how do I mod to my quads? I currently thinking to mod to one if these model I own X5C-1, LS127, SYMA X11 & 12, LS111 or xinxun sky hero.

QUOTE(eric.hishamuddin @ Mar 15 2015, 01:06 PM) actual FPV? i don't think there are any. the FPV setup alone would cost more than that.flyers with mounted camera? plenty of those. just browse a few pages back. plenty of discussions and recommendations. |

QUOTE(eric.hishamuddin @ Mar 15 2015, 01:06 PM) Yes you can have FPV drone under RM450 you have two route:1. DIY build: Which is you can select best parts combine that meets your budget still offer good quality FPV performance. Here is my FPV drone build blog under RM450 provided you used cheap car LCD for main display and original controller. DIY building log: http://www.supermotoxl.com/FPV/UAV-models-...enu-id-119.html 2. Out of the box ready to fly....but bleaky performance. You can buy it online here around RM340: http://www.banggood.com/SKY-Hawkeye-HM1315...6363706201312DW or This one around RM429: http://www.banggood.com/JJRC-V686-5_8G-FPV...6363706201312DW This post has been edited by SupermotoXL: Mar 16 2015, 04:30 PM |

Hi Guys.
I recently notice a swelling on my DJI Phantom 2 batteries. My Phantom 2 is the older version (the one where the camera tilt is at the back of the remote control) 1. Is it safe to use 2. Will the capacity be lower ? 3. Is this due to storing at full charge ? 4. Is this covered by warranty (RMA) ? Thanks ! |

Slightly reduce but lack of "punch" power. 3. Yes, if full charged lipo battery not in use within 3 days you must discharge a full charged battery to storage level. If battery full charged is 12.6v then storage charge should be 11.1v 4. Nope, doesn't covered by warranty if pass 30 days. |

The one with smart discharging ? |
