Thanks for the advice. Had been looking at the syma x5c since most recommend it and it even look kinda like the phantom... Didn't realize the size difference though.. Will look into this v262
*
x5c is not a bad choice. the main concern here is weight. phantom is big and weighty. lighter craft response faster and is twitchier. heavier craft a less responsive. simply said, correcting a heavier craft in flight is a tad harder than a lighter ones. so if you already knew you're going to fly a phantom, get something similar in size and weight. that way, you don't have to adjust yourself to the weight of the phantom.

Hi,

Just started to play quadcopter and I got a L6025 LishiToys Quadcopter.
As it's first time playing quadcopter and one of the motor is not moving because crashing.

Would like to know any place able to replace the motor in Malaysia?
As just to buy a motor by using oversea online store the shipping is too expensive.

Thanks

Check wires and see any broken around the motor..
Normally motors don't break down easily.. Unless it's a really bad crash la

As for spares for yr quad.. I have totally no idea 😛

Actually I tend to think that..
Weight plays a part when there is..
1. Strong winds.
2. Ascent and decent rates.

Sensitivity and response can mostly be adjusted on the radio or flight controller itself..
A small little quad can be made to fly quite docile or very aggressively depending on how u do the settings..

This is based on normally set up quads la.. Not those overpowered ones.. 😛

hi all,
i am interested in quadcopter, i just get into quadcopter for at least 1 month, this few day i feel like build one quad to carry a camera and shoot video and pic,
so i need getting advice how to choose and build a good one

question1:
what kind of motor should i should, higher KV or lower KV if i wan to carry gimbal and camera, i saw a lot of people using 980kv or 720kv to carry camera and for bigger quad, and those 2xxxKV usually for qav 250 smaller quad, is that higher the KV the faster the quad and lower KV is for more stablization?

question 2:
what frame should i use? i now thinking should i get a F450 or S500, any others better option?

question 3:
what flight controller should i use?i know there are few kind of FC out there, but which one should i use? for camera should i get a FC that has GPS? or just QQ super or KK pro will do? or i need go for AMP and MWC? kind of confuse about these FC @@

question 4:
is it possible to build one stable and good quad that can carry at least a gopro that around RM1000? exclude a controller and FPV set

i am appreciate for your reply

thank you
kenneth

if yr objective is just to carry a camera steadily and shoot videos or pics
then just buy the DJI phantom if u wanna just plug and play
alternatively u can opt for APM which requires much more reading and technical knowledge
both have GPS for guidance and navigation

for rm1000 or possibly less ..
yes ... it is possible to have a GPS equipped quad

Dji phantom is too expensive for me, that's why I planning to build cheaper drone
APM need do a lot of configuration is it?
How about naza m lite? Come with GPS as well, is that usefull?
How about the motor and frame? What kind of motor should o use for steady shoot? Lower KV?

I been saving up to get myself a drone. Should i get Dji phantom vision+ 2.0 first or straight to 3.0? As myself has no past experience flying a drone or a quadcopter. I wanna take videos and photos of my beautiful village biggrin.gif

u can build your own quad ... to the size u require
bigger props normally goes with low kv motors
then u can choose whatever flight controller u want ..

mostly kits nowadays comes rather inexpensive ... so u can buy and build your own
mix and match if u dont want everything as per recommend specification

if u choose to go down this path ,,, then reading and understanding required ...

Guys any difference between version 2.0 and 3.0?
I think I'm saving up for this rm3.5k since i already bought a phone so my parents not gonna buy it for me. I don't want to invest in cheap quadcopter. I want a quadcopter that has fpv and i can record video with!

something else la ... hahaha
lots of frames out there ...
best u get something that uses aluminium minimum for arms ... carbon or glass fibre would be better coz slightly lighter
check THIS place out ....
lots of multicopter stuff at reasonable prices

motors ... go for sunnysky 2212 980kv ...
esc ... 30a and at least 4S capable
props .. 10 x 4.5 or 10 x 5 inch ... good quality ones of coz ...
flight controller .. naza lite would be OK for plug and play (minimal settings required)
if u want something more capable and not expensive ... APM ...
both these flight controllers i listed more for videography purposes ...
if u just wanna whack it around for fun .. naze32 acro ..
