Have you guys ever had to leave your tanks for a few days? Say balik kampung etc? Lights, food all can be automated.

But if blackout how?

Something in a " kerang " like shell, hiding and moving around in my tank, can't really find any info about it, if anyone got any idea or any exp, please share.

my record was 2 weeks using fish feeder (after i convert to fish and easy to keep corals only)

Added on December 25, 2010, 3:48 amsome of them like fresh meat.if ur tank stil without any life stock.get a mineral botal,cut into 2,place it inside ur sand bed,put a fish or spawn inside the mineral.u will get something on next few day

Added on December 25, 2010, 3:57 amrelex bro.if u want find a gd condition chiller u have to patience.u can try search for resun cl650.quite many selling that.around 500-650.the chiller can go up to 3feet tank no problem.mayb in future u gona upgrade ur tank.and even u stop for marine.stil got value to sell it.will keep on eye for u too

And for spawn, where get ? Frog 1 or fish 1 ?

i had the same problem TNB had put a notice will blackout from 9am-4pm and i couldnt find a generator even so it'll be very expensive..what i did for temperature is i max out living hall 2.0 aircond (until human cant even stay) to make sure my living hall is very very cold so when it blackout atleast the tank wont be rising that fast due to environment are not hot..and i also maintain the temperature 21degree before blackout so it will rise slowly..everything went great..for blk kampung i dont blk so i wouldnt have this problem..

if TNB decided to blackout few days ill tumpang lfs lah

Manage to get a 2nd hand resun cl 600, but not going to use so soon, there is sounds like water still in the chiller, will it be a problem if i store it like tat until nxt year, any way to remove the water ? I still haven't get any pump, any manual way ?

Added on December 25, 2010, 10:49 pm1st ,mayb ur location is gd coverage ,the tnb will send u a notice.but my hometown din do that,the will cut out anytime they want. if nite.thn will b lucky.coz the weather at nite cool.but if afternoon.thn have to pray for god. .haha.no la.just go 7-11 get icetube.and if away from hometown at the same time blackout,don think nth can do
in history will the tnb notice about will blackout for few days?never heard unless some serius accident happen.like tanah runtuh ect.

how u gona tumpang ur coral to lfs,if ur coral quantity more thn 100pics.and how u gona do that. if only few coral in tank.don think any risk will have if keep staying at the blackout tank.


conclusion ...prepare a bateri air pump.coz u never know when u need it since very chepo nowday

By the way, i just bought a 2nd hand chiller unit, and there is water being store inside, since i'm not using it so soon any way to remove it ?

aiyoyo bro.u so cute.my bad is prawn .if is liying 1.how u gona put inside the half botal leh,they will swing using a small piece of fish like kembung or any fish ur mum bough .when the "thing"hunting for it.it will fall down inside the botal and cant panjat out.same the way like we catch small ketam at beach

another way is like this.this 1 normally diy for catch fish

bout the chiller.i dono wor.mayb just terbalik the chiller and the water will fall down?and don think if just let it b inside the chiller will course any dmg.but when want to use just let the water run few minute b4 water in ur tank

i stay in condo they do put up notice nowadays cz my gf's house also they send notice...

battery pump couldnt even get my canister jalan..not enough power..dont forget chiller..so far theres nothing battery pump can help me in case tnb play tricks..unless rm1k generator ..

if 100pcs means u gotta spread lfs lah..i asked them b4 blackout they told me no problem can tumpang ..but i figured its not long they can survive..

@mallow..yup just terbalik the chiller upside down..at least thats what my manual says..

What external pump do you all recommend for chiller usage on 1.5ft tank ?

using normal powerhead ok alr.1500lph gd enough

don't use strong pump, calculate your water flow rate vs chiller cooling time. slow flow is better.

Already add 1 cultured clown and 1 hermit clown in my tank for 3 days. But the clown seems like does not like the fish flakes i bought.

buy pallets and frozen brine shrimp

don't overfeed clown, they will die.

I dun think the clown will get overfeed, cuz the flake seems like too big for it, and it just spit the flake out after a bite.

flake food for angel, butterfly

flake not eaten will mess the water quality
