When you choose playstore you will be prompted to key in credit card details
I key in same credit card details as in my account only changing address n tel
Don't expect every detail clearly written. This is understood you need to key in your Gmail to access playstore

If I buy a book/movie/magazine, would I still be able to use it without the VPN?

No need to be hurry in deciding what to buy.
Once you claimed the credit, you can spend it anytime before end of June 2013.

But there are cases where the credit grey out and not available to use.

Movies need VPN connected
Books without VPN you will see error message about cannot purchased in your country . Just ignore n select sync n you can view your purchased books

Do you guys get charged USD/EUR 1 when claiming this? What I did was:
1. registered Visa card 1234 on N7 1
2. citibank send one sms saying I got charged USD1
3. I tried to register the SAME visa card on N7 2
4. N7 told me the card is already registered!
5. citibank send one sms saying that I got charged EUR1
6. registered Visa card 2345 on N7 2
7. citibank send sms saying that I got charged EUR1!!

So in the end, I spent USD1 + EUR2 to claim USD50....

It is standard first time charge only when you sign in a credit card first time from new even with same credit card. Try remove your present validcredit card n key in again. You will be charge again. So never remove your credit card details unnecessary once keyed in

Yup still need VPN for US contents like books, movies etc.

From my experience, the USD1 did not appear in my monthly credit card bill. I believe Google wants to verify your credit card only. I might be wrong but you can try check your monthly statement later.

Weird, i did that 25$ thingy on my bro's account and it works, then i redo the whole thing again for my account and when I key in my credit card to redeem the 25$ it doesn't work. It just said pay with my credit card number and not Google Play balance

LOL, guess what, I went to HotSpot Lowyat just now, quickly tried out the Nexus 7s on display, after few touches, the ENTIRE Bukit Bintang area blacked-out, so no power to the wifi modem, couldn't try surfing internet on the N7.

Tried playing mass effect on my n7 ... everything stock without root but the game feels as if cannot run above 30fps. Feels laggy

U can't get multiple credit with a unit of n7

Should I wait for N7 to become available at SenQ and get 1+1 warranty or just buy at Hotspot with the 1 year warranty? So anxious.

That transaction is just to verify your card. It will be refunded/canceled off without needing you to do anything, don't worry bout it.

nfc is really one of the most overlook capability on this tablet imo. hope tht in the future nfc will get more exposure
