Just got mine at ioi mall.
At first go to senQ at ioi, but the stuff there don't even know what is Nexus 7...

So walk around the mall and Go to the area that sell computer stuff saw a shop with big Asus sign then went in to try my luck. The sales person in the shop say got stock, but have to take from Sunway, so I waited an hour, I use credit card they charge 2% zzzzz... so total is rm1019.00.

Since I use my new Cxtxbank card, Can get rm250 cash back, so total damage is rm769.

I have read the blog 3 times, it is not clearly mentioned in his blog, so I assumed it was the step when I was told to run Google Play.

Somehow the popup doesn't happen, maybe because I already have a credit card associated with my account?
what I did was go to a paid app, then there's one option to "Add card to get $25 credit", then I continued as in the blog.

You are suppose to follow the steps shown in the pop up.

You may need to try couple of times to make the recovery stick.

Let see if your Grouper can boot into recovery...

1. Unplug USB and reboot to system mode; normal booting.
2. Plug in USB to another port and make sure your Grouper is in Debugging mode.
3. If you've successfully flash permanent recovery, press "Launch" under Advanced Utilities. In Quick Tools with ADB-Device On selected, press Reboot Recovery.
4. If you did temporary recovery in previous try, you may choose Custom Recovery under Boot Temporary menu.
5. If it still fails, you may need to run Initial Setup again and make sure you pass Step 3 with flying colors.

I did encountered this issue but I can't recall how to overcome it. I do remember that I did reboot the PC, change the USB port couple of times, rerun Initial Setup then it can boot into recovery. BTW, I flashed the recovery permanently.

If you're familiar with Fastboot command, you can shorten the troubleshooting.

hey I found that we will be charge taxes during checkout. maybe this is why the price hike up. u can click the total there and it will show the breakdown.

Downloaded wugfresh's nexus toolkit 1.5.3 but it doesn't have the build number of my tablet.  Mine is JRO03S while the drop down has only x03D although it does have 'android *.*.*' any build listed.

What option should I choose?
