Just bought two sets C90 from hotspot from lowyat plaza, the seller won't budge in the price even though I bought 2 units + 2 SGP SP (at rm99 each)!

Still a lot of stock there, I asked, the boxes you see on the shelf are empty.

I feel like supporting this shop, coz got total of 9 N7 units for testing, and a lot of stock too, the only shop i found to sell N7 screen protector as well.

Thanks to the forumers here, i did a quick test on the speaker > 40% and also the mic. Seemed to work well. Never bothered about the screen lift issue.

All the Test Units at the shop is also hooked up to WIFI + VPN, so you can actually see books, magazines, and movies from the test unit!

At what point can I register my google account? At the end of the steps? Coz I thought the apps I buy is tied to my google account, I should register my google account first before buying the apps?

I have read the blog 3 times, it is not clearly mentioned in his blog, so I assumed it was the step when I was told to run Google Play.

Somehow the popup doesn't happen, maybe because I already have a credit card associated with my account?
what I did was go to a paid app, then there's one option to "Add card to get $25 credit", then I continued as in the blog.

Do you guys get charged USD/EUR 1 when claiming this? What I did was:
1. registered Visa card 1234 on N7 1
2. citibank send one sms saying I got charged USD1
3. I tried to register the SAME visa card on N7 2
4. N7 told me the card is already registered!
5. citibank send one sms saying that I got charged EUR1
6. registered Visa card 2345 on N7 2
7. citibank send sms saying that I got charged EUR1!!

So in the end, I spent USD1 + EUR2 to claim USD50....

2. Do you guys have the launcher icon for Movies, and Books? Just realised they are gone, previously they were there, probably after I disconnect VPN they gets missing. I can get them back from Uninstalling the updates though.

3. Those of you who are using the book case, do you have problem where sometimes when the "flap" is behind the tablet, it will automatically dim the screen? I am thinking that the magnet is too powerful?

Careful when buying case from directd, got two book leather case from them for rm50 each, then realize that its defective because it shuts off the screen when I flip the cover to the back, complained to them but they say its normal and refuse to change for me.

Yeah I saw the youtube about putting metal plate, but where to get this metal plate? And how to put it so that it won't scratch my N7....

yesterday tried to buy something using Google Wallet on my wife's and my N7, after reading about accounts being on hold. Both of our Google Wallet can still be used, is it maybe because I never change the credit card postcode and phone number back to the Malaysia one yet? It is still the US one that is in the instructions list. Scared to change it back now.

Yeah, have been using it for a while now, just need to use the Tor trick to enable it.

If you have VPN, you can connect to VPN, buy songs, then disconnect, the song will still be there.
