Well, its a relief to all PC owners then. None of us owners are effected. But the problem is due to a faultysticky power window switch. sweat.gif

2-3 years down the road, PC may also kena recall because they normally act on customer's complaint. Those sold in Malaysia are normally said to be "unaffected". Quite strange. Why? May be life here is "cheap" lah

Well guys, after installing the TRD kit and driving it around town. So far no problem overcoming the speed bump, still a lot of clearance from the bumps. Not to forget going in and out of our shopping complexes, no problem at all.  thumbup.gif

But there is only 1 thing that you must be aware. Is only when you side park or turning into a tight corner, the part where the LED's are is a bit jutting out. Dont wanna scratch the TRD kit.  hmm.gif

My opinion/advice is the TRD kit on the PC are awesome especially with the LED thumbup.gif

Nope it won't at all. Things that I can think of that will affect the FC -

1. Bigger rims = heavier rims
2. Transfer household items into the car doh.gif

The TRD kit doesn't weigh that much actually. You can actually hold them with one hand

Added on October 11, 2012, 10:52 pmTo engah & keanutan.

That why we need the forum to keep owners updated, especially when it comes to problem to the PC. Give everybody a head start. Use every opportunity during the warranty period. Just my two cents.

yep.. agree with that.. our rim already aluminium and bare in mind that rim is japan spec/quality due to our car is CBU from Japan.. if change to Taiwan rim or other brand.. the quality or spec is questionable...

i believe its mostly unaffected due to origin of assembly and parts localisation. but its also highly possible that the recall is legal based, where their legal department will advise whether recall is necessary based on "will we get sued and pay a hefty fine?"

I guess if you have extra cash, maybe can go for Japan rims. Those rims are light.

Yes bro. Those rims are far more better than stock rims. Some are fully forged and they are damn strong.
