QUOTE(WyjSwmW @ Sep 16 2012, 11:29 PM) If you are talking about the share counter, their price drop alot. If you are talking about their gambling counter, you should also mentioned how many people took their own live at the end of their investment. How much have you invested in RWS so far? |

QUOTE(WyjSwmW @ Sep 16 2012, 11:29 PM) You mean Genting Sg?If he bought during IPO at $0.35, and then sold during the historical high range >$2, he would have needed to invest $20K and hold on until it hit 600% profit margin. That is hard to believe because human nature will usually sell once it goes 100-200% especially for IPO shares because of the windfall feeling. Your friend has very strong conviction and acumen. |

QUOTE(WyjSwmW @ Sep 16 2012, 08:47 PM) The best food i've tasted in my life so is in Sg - a restaurant not kopitiam. The roadside food quality drops due to outsourcing issue. Noodles done by factory, cook by foreigners kuli etc. M'sia is not far behid this phenomena as no 2nd gen wish to take over. Look at penang, it's like a Singapore in 1980s... Soon all the famous Penang stalls will be gone. |

in fact there are tons of nice restaurants provide nice food out there, like Japanese, Korean, Italian, Western, Chinese & Fusion restaurants. If you always eat at hawker ctr then yeah, most of the food in hawker sucks.

Most of the higher end food is better in SG than in MY. Even the Chinese restaurants (like Imperial Treasure, Lei Garden or specialist Crystal Jade eg. Peking Duck, La Mian Xiao Long Bao or Palace rather than Kitchen) are up to par with the best in KL and Ipoh. Western, Japanese and Korean etc are hands down better in SG.
Mainstream shopping center chain restaurants are exactly the same on both sides of the causeway. Indeed the uniformity of food quality (or the reverse) is the entire point. For food court stuff... Food Republic is not bad. But the rest like Food Junction, S22, HDB food centers etc. are simply not up to the standard of some of the better coffee shop stalls in KL or Ipoh. But then again... if you're a local and you grew up here, you'd know exactly which stall in which food center has the best xxx, yyy etc - just like I know for KL and Ipoh. The fact that we are foreigners means that we typically go for convenience instead of cari makan... and that will lead you to the "chain" food court stalls manned by the banglas etc. Most stalls selling similar stuff are run by single operators who run tens or even hundreds of individual stalls in food courts all over Singapore. Change job? i thought you are one of those just get job? anything you learn from your previous job? because 3 month sometimes is just not enough for you to learn thing, only included experience where when interviewer ask you and you able to tell them what you do in previous job. |

I am still with the company but it's just that after a few month here i just don't think i am suitable for the job. I works for 11-12 hours 6 days a week and it is physically demanding as it is site work |
