hi, let say a fresh malaysian graduate works at sg for 3 month and decided to resign as the job is no no. Should him include the job experience into the resume for another job search in sg or just let it be?

Personally, I am not sure if leaving out information like this on your resume will do you any good, your future employer will probably ask if you have had any experience working in Singapore? Correct me if am wrong, i think they are able to find out from your work pass.

I am still with the company but it's just that after a few month here i just don't think i am suitable for the job. I works for 11-12 hours 6 days a week and it is physically demanding as it is site work  sad.gif

i also think that they can found out my previous employment from my EP. Better be frank. Thanks for your reply. Anyways, any taiko here know any good engineering consultancy firm? Try google before but it's still all blur.

currently i'm using maxis postpaid. if i work in SG, i would like to maintain the phone number because many contact list. what is the cheapest option for me?

2) is it possible to convert the number to SG service providers?
3) any websites that I can refer to about this issue?
4) how about you guys working in SG. how do you manage this?

i mainly maintain this number to call/receive Malaysian numbers. of course if it's bundled with internet service is better because i'm using smartphone.

i tried to google this issue but i can't find a good reference.

thanks!

That is only true IF and only IF other people are also passionate about whatever you're passionate about... and they are willing to pay you money to be passionate on their behalf.

No, you cannot port your Malaysian number over to Singapore. You can only maintain your number with Maxis and then use international roaming when you're in Singapore.

So, you cannot port phone numbers from one country to another. In fact, you cannot even use the same number in different countries (ie. including the country and district codes, and in Malaysia's case - the telco code). That's simply because each country has a unique country code, and not many countries use a telco code.

Even if you just want to use the same Malaysian phone number (not including country and telco code) in Singapore, it will not totally be the same even if it were available for registration. Malaysian phone numbers are 7 digits. Singapore is 8 digits.

What is your passion? Having passion alone doesn't feed you.
You're young and equipped with very little experience it would be more viable if you could suck it up and learn as much as possible from your current job instead of focusing on the long working hours.

Anyhoo.. the choice is yours.
