hi, let say a fresh malaysian graduate works at sg for 3 month and decided to resign as the job is no no. Should him include the job experience into the resume for another job search in sg or just let it be?

QUOTE(yhoong12 @ Sep 18 2012, 08:52 AM) Change job? i thought you are one of those just get job? anything you learn from your previous job? because 3 month sometimes is just not enough for you to learn thing, only included experience where when interviewer ask you and you able to tell them what you do in previous job. I am still with the company but it's just that after a few month here i just don't think i am suitable for the job. I works for 11-12 hours 6 days a week and it is physically demanding as it is site work

QUOTE(momijigari @ Sep 18 2012, 09:23 AM) Personally, I am not sure if leaving out information like this on your resume will do you any good, your future employer will probably ask if you have had any experience working in Singapore? Correct me if am wrong, i think they are able to find out from your work pass. i also think that they can found out my previous employment from my EP. Better be frank. Thanks for your reply. Anyways, any taiko here know any good engineering consultancy firm? Try google before but it's still all blur. QUOTE(seantang @ Sep 18 2012, 01:20 PM) That is only true IF and only IF other people are also passionate about whatever you're passionate about... and they are willing to pay you money to be passionate on their behalf. valid point. I do hope i can achieve that one day. Now i can just hope to find new job soon.

QUOTE(ai_tcy @ Sep 18 2012, 03:52 PM) It is true. I just got my job in JSPL. I was jobless for almost 2 months before i got the job in JSPL. I quit my previous job before getting new job even thought my ex boss counter offered my and it was quite tempting. Even my client offered me a job but i didnt take it. Looking for a job in sg is not really ec. newcomer? What position?

i have also look into the same link before posting here. But the the first page of this thread state that ones can stay in sg for job hunting for 60 days out of every 90 days. So i wonder if this apply to EP cancellation employee as well.

QUOTE(megadisc @ Oct 11 2012, 04:45 PM) omg ...what happendeindd ? sorry to hear if u can afford then stay ... it's actually me who initiate the resignation as i am not suitable for the job. So no need to be sorry. I am financially stable, so i guess i will stay in sg for the time being. But can i continue renting my room eventhough my ep cancelled?

QUOTE(yhoong12 @ Oct 11 2012, 05:23 PM) But you just started this job right? how long does you take to get this current job? then maybe you can work out how long it needed again to find another job. does your room got minimum requirement of stay? if got you need to plan carefully when to give notice and when to move out, plus the white card issue is also one of it, i recall that after a number of days stays in singapore with white card, you are not allowed to enter singapore for one month, correct me if i give out wrong info I have been working in current company for 3 month already. To be fair, it's me that cannot stand the current working environment ( dusty/risky/noisy/hot etc). This were my first job and i managed to secure another 2 job in singapore within 2 month. So, i am not sure if i can really gauge this. I have already fulfill the minimum requirement of stay of my room so i am sure i can get back my deposit. I thinks you are right with the white card things though.
