You need a H5 + H10 subwoofer. Or a proper floor stander. Otherwise you will suffer significantly on lean bass

Took the plunge and ordered myself a M50W as replacement for Logitech Z-2300

I'm expecting a substantial improvement for music, and hopeful that it can at least keep up with the Z-2300 in movies and games. Or am I asking too much?

Not possible. Even if you buy from WM dealers, after shipping they will come out to about the same price. You can check with Impulse online gamestore to see how much they charge you for shipping since they have one of the cheapest EM shipping. You can compare with all dealers to see who has lowest shipping rate.

Check for bad grounding. You can always bring it back for a diagnostic. If it is faulty, any defective part will be replaced/repaired under warranty

Just hooked up my new M50W. Wow!

Guess I was so wrong to underestimate the power of this fellow, bass level isn't even at max and I can already "feel" it (yes, I like to not just hear my bass but also feel it ) Definitely no problem matching the power of Z-2300's 8" sub

Gonna do more listening at louder volumes tomorrow, now neighbors sleeping liao

if true, u need to move it further from other electronics (inteference)
otherwise is grounding problem from ur player or PC


i suggest dont save on shipping, worry ur speaker arrived imperfect *sakit hati*
u can always buy from ur nearby shop, test it before pay.

You're quite right there. Less the hassle. At least I can test before pay. I'm very frustrated after 2 times bringing my rig from Kuching to Miri, 2 times damaged.

Anyway, I'm sure that speaker will not damaged easily. But let's say the speaker DOA or something else happened. Phew...

Is it all right if my speakers are around 2m apart from each other according to the picture?

And my subwoofer placed on the bottom right.

Or shd i place my speakers closer and the sub in the middle?
