just did

Added on November 30, 2012, 11:36 pmBrought an M20W home today. I think this thing just destroyed Aego M. Very similar characteristic. Micro driver with perfect mid to upper range coherence. With the sub filling up the rest. For those who find the M50W on the warmer side, the M20W is the one to get.

Looks like there's a HiVi for everyone. After listening to a bunch of songs of various genre from various albums through my Squeezebox Touch -> Lavry DA11

Snow Rose
Diana Krall in Paris
The Very Best of Eagles
Dire Straits: On The Night
Adele (all albums)

and etc

The M20W clearly has a brighter, more analytical, and fun sound signature. The sub has to be cranked all the way up. However, just like the M50W, the sub is tight and punchy. Does not fart, and not loose and boomy like typical main stream speakers with gigantic subwoofer.

Imagine:

M20W - Most Grado headphones
M50W - Sennheiser HD600 (not as warm as HD650 but if you crank up the sub, it could add on the veil)

Fun stuff!!!

Wait for us to announce SRP. We still have to go through a few more models to determine the price point

Aego is over-rated. Dont really find them pleasing to hear. I ever listen to one that was bearable for long hours and that is through a RM700 DAC (What was it called? D2 IINM).

What do you have on audition now bro? X6? T200B? MK200II?

Then don't buy the m20w, it has the same characteristic but less bright and tighter bass. Aego m's sub rattle at higher output due to the cloth grill rattling like a drum.

M50W has a warmer sound signature. Same as m200mk ii/iii. You also won't like the t200b, its a more energetic speaker.

Everything is available but these are at my house now laugh.gif

Added on December 1, 2012, 4:17 pmX6 not available this month. We have the x4 here. Didn't get to set it up. The crossover on the speakers look complicated at first glance. The speaker has a mono block in each of then just like h4, h5, and t200b

We are trying to setup a full range showroom at Heavy Arm. Give us some time.

D1080IV is about the same price as M20W.

M50W is a warm sounding speaker but doesn't have muffled highs. So far anybody who's an audiophile seems to be sold by the SQ that you are getting for the price you pay

My good friend PCWork came over to audition the whole line and love the M50W and D1080IV a lot.

Yes that is the 1080IV. The baffle is very sexy. But if you put on the grill, it looks just like a typical lack luster book shelf. The tweeters are grilled so you can't mess them up.

The M10 does not have protected tweeter

You do know we have the matching Swan ST2 stand right? RM 229 laugh.gif Btw, please write a review and we will update the first post with it. Leave the speaker at stock settings and place them further away but you will also need to sit further way.
