Will there be any D1080iv for audition? Would like to compare them to the M10, m200mkii, and the m20w since they are about the same price. biggrin.gif

Are you bluetooth-ing it from your iPhone? brows.gif The speakers prioritize bluetooth as #1 source and line in as #2. You can do the following:

#1 - Hook up sound card to Speaker (set volume to low)
#2 - Connect any BT device to the speaker via BT

You can play music from your phone, it goes through a very high quality BT receiver that you would not likely to be able to tell a difference from line in. When you want to listen to whatever from your PC, disable BT from your phone and viola! You now have the speakers automatically connected to the PC biggrin.gif

The Bluetooth connection is reserved for when I am cooking or at the loo.. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif I am still testing it.. The sound is so much better that any speakers I tried especially the BOSE speakers... All in all, I am pretty stoned now. thumbup.gif All I need is some beer or alcohol and get drunk together with some musics... rclxm9.gif

I got a question, do I need to direct my fan towards the fin at the back of the speakers? Mine seems to run a bit warm. Will it damage the speakers if I did not direct my fan towards it?

Another owner Dennis is worried of his D1080-IV as well. Don't worry about it, you don't need a fan or anything on it. In fact when the transistor warms up the speaker should sound better. This also applies to tube amps

BOSE = Buy Other Sound Equipment
BOSE = Buy Our Shitty Equipment

As quoted from "http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Bose"

Hey all, I am having a weird issue here with my HiVi m100mk2. When I am listening to music suddenly there is no sound coming out even though it is still playing on the Windows Media Player and PC is working fine.

I then try to open up other things, such as youtube, there is no sound at all. I also notice that when this happen, the LED at the back of the speakers is turns red instead of the usual blue. I had to switch off the speakers and then turn it back on for a few times and it is fine again.

This only developed yesterday.

Can anyone please help me out here? Thanks.

I thought that as well, so I blast my fan at it and even turn on the air con and its still there. Then this morning it also happened, and I switch off all my PC stuffs before I go to bed. So I am not sure what is happening..
