think this way... like one of my fren usually fold his side mirror then park car very close to wall, so he can park another beside and without knock on other car's body panel if one car open the door.
if u turn on ACC then it will auto unfold, it will scratch your side mirror pretty easy. so 5km/h is safe spot.
if not mistaken later batch lancer GT came with this function too. but at 20km/h auto unfold, and cannot fold when your exceed this speed. like a safety feature

inspira etacs got this function... no luck/device to enable it... so we use another aftermarket module to control the side mirror

can be done by add an extra module...
like the one i using... not only control the side mirror fold and unfold ,
but also can do auto unfold while acc on and follow your alarm on off.
but i didnt wire them up... manual fold all the way.

i think it is a universal thing...it meant for cruze. but can use on inspira. but for preve , need wiring diagram, else dont know which wire to tap
