well, to be frank, I do see a lot of potential with this phone.. I'll wait, cos I wanna see how good is the centralized notification solution that MS provided. Overall I was pretty ok with Lumia 900 last time, minus a few things and the fact that is has less games to play with. I do expect this to be solved in coming months or end of next year at most... that is, if the really push this OS strongly

I have a friend who use digi smart plan and he has the same problem as well, plus unable to access to data as well |

QUOTE(azraeil @ Dec 10 2012, 02:02 AM) Or to turn off the focus assist I think. The focus assist is the one that seems to stabilised the lens allowing for more light to come in. I'm just guessing but I'll take a photo with and without photo assist and compare them. That's not how OIS work. The focus assisting LED is just to provide some light for focus, will not effect the photo brightness. To prove this, you can first half press the shuttle button at outside your home, then come back indoor (still half pressing), off all the light then take a photo. |

If that is the case, then I guess to take somewhat darker photos at night, the only way is to reduce the EV by a couple of stops. To prove this, you can first half press the shuttle button at outside your home, then come back indoor (still half pressing), off all the light then take a photo. |

this is my theory of focus assist light la, need some sifu good in camera to correct me.
camera have 1 "eye", so it cant tell the difference of the distance if subject goes dark. so the focus led light will lid and release the light on subject and let the light bounce back to camera sensor and from that, the camera know where to focus... i think. i think camera also hard to focus on a pure black cloth either (yes pure black, don't have much light on black cloth either or else the light also will bounce back and let the camera know where to focus.) pure black in photoshop, RGB R:0 G:0 B:0 This post has been edited by Agito666: Dec 10 2012, 06:20 PM |

Or take an infinite far photo, like go on top of a condo, take a photo of the far side. For sure the LED is useless in helping the brightness right? |
