Here's a sample photo taken in my living room. It's a dark living room only lighted by table lamps.
Hmmmm can't seem to attached the photo. Maybe because it's 2.4MB for the photo from the iPhone 4s? Let's see if I upload to flickr if that will work. The one below is taken with the iPhone 4s http://www.flickr.com/photos/90974380@N08/.../in/photostream This is taken by the Lumia 920 http://www.flickr.com/photos/90974380@N08/.../in/photostream |

One thing for sure, the low light photos are pretty good.
I wonder if there is any way to shut down the OIS? Just so we can get the 'night' effect instead of clear photo? |

In short, Lumia920 can trash all other competitor in term of low light performance? While the day light performance is mediocre?Hmmmm can't seem to attached the photo. QUOTE(Human10 @ Dec 9 2012, 10:04 PM) I don't see that much noise from the pic. Even DSLR got noise bro It's very good and i'm pretty much impressed. Not quite sure if any phone could beat 920 camera up to date. This post has been edited by Rei7: Dec 9 2012, 11:08 PM |

Yup, currently planning to get the shortest and cheapest contract one from digi. It will mean you get 24GB of data (for 12 months) at only RM176.Here are some sample shots taken by Engadget. http://www.engadget.com/gallery/nokia-lumi...0-sample-shots/ Do you know if we can make the subscription at real digi store instead of at online store? QUOTE(Rei7 @ Dec 9 2012, 11:02 PM) Are you trolling? Lumia 920 has the best camera for a phone for now. Actually the consensus of most reviews are: 920 has awesome lowlight photography, but rather average daylight photographyIf low light is great, day light is even better. Engadget is of the opinion that there is a problem with the software for daylight photography because the pre-production Lumia 920 that they tested did not have the issues.

QUOTE(kuroneko0509 @ Dec 9 2012, 07:42 PM) Or to turn off the focus assist I think. The focus assist is the one that seems to stabilised the lens allowing for more light to come in. I'm just guessing but I'll take a photo with and without photo assist and compare them. |

I tested the camera with the focus assist off, the photos still comes in quite clear with lots of light but some areas are a bit darker so I guess the focus assist does seems to add more light to the photos.
Found this review on the camera by WPCentral and it made me understand more on the camera setup. Now need to download the Nokia Creative Studio App Added on December 10, 2012, 4:03 amhttp://www.wpcentral.com/nokia-lumia-920s-camera-second-look This post has been edited by azraeil: Dec 10 2012, 04:03 AM |
