But I end up make the order through Nokia store and planning to sign up the Maxis iValue 1 Plan, then sell off the iPhone 5...

For the open box part, I called Maxis Center in Danga Bay,Johor.
They reply me that customer may request not to open the box.. (depend on the person who serve you though..)

For the warranty issue, my last iPhone from Telco is 3GS from maxis as well, but I'm lucky that I don't have any issue needed to claim the warranty until I trade-in the 3GS for iPad 3rd Gen few months back in Singapore.
So may others with experience with Telco-unit to answer you

Anyone wants to take over my pre-order from Melaka? Had a friend to do it for me because I'm from East Malaysia...and then few days later Nokia just had to announce that they're opening up the pre-orders in Sabah and Sarawak as well. Talk about timing -___-

So there's still possibility to get a wireless charging pad or better headphone for free?

U can do what i do i also order black fone but gonna buy other colour casing. Planing to buy 3 colour of casing for my    teal yellow and red and with black colour fone will blend in nicely.

I dislike how Nokia malaysia handling the pre order coz they can't confirm the actual release date and the non refundable preorder. They are not a financial institution thus do not actually have the rights to take deposits. Pls correct me if I am wrong.

Hmmmmm, now I'm increasingly doubtful that Celcom will have their Lumia plans up before the official launch. <sigh> Looks like it's next year before I have a chance at the phone...

I also thinking like that redi la...Blardy useless waiting for our telcos to let us give them business. Where u gonna pre-order bro? Yesterday I went Curve Nokia store, still got Black & White. According to them, receive on Friday (not sure if this is true la based on other people's feedback here).
