Wow. Not a bad price!
They should include a 90w adapter, which I think should be enough to run 1 GPU. So people can bring around outside with 1 GPU + empty bay + 90w psu. When get back home, insert the GT650M bay, and use the 170w adapter for performance. |

If the price is indeed RM3799, then compare to Y580 RM2999.
We are getting: GT650M SLI vs GTX660M Better heatsink design. More bling design (may not suit corp office Since GT650M is comparable to GT560M, if GT650M SLI is comparable to GT560M SLI, then we are looking at performance more or less on par with GT675M (maybe not GT675MX, my guess), depend on driver support (very important). Anyway, a single CPU is always a cleaner solution than SLI in my book. I will hold on to my Y580 for now This post has been edited by nexus2238: Nov 16 2012, 04:51 PM |

Just hope one day they will provide an option for matte screen Looking at some screenshot, I think another advantage over Y580 is Y500 give easy full access to all the important components. Much easier to clean and maintain I hope Y500 is a major success, and Lenovo will continue with the ultrabay SLI development |

chat with lenovo malaysia on FB. they don't have any information regarding the availability of this model in malaysia YET. however they do mention that some reseller already imported the item from overseas thus making it available on local market.
more waiting time for me i guess... damn it lenovo. at least release it to the pc magazine/online for people to review it first. the feeling of waiting is like able to watch waifu but unable to touch her for 6month. |
