Mind to share a picture of your classic debit card ? Just want to know how it looks like

Same as below but the Standard Chartered wording is bigger and longer, straight in a row instead of 2 rows. The bank officer said they no longer issue this classic debit card as they have been replaced with new Liverpool card.

This is not really a classic debit card. This design has been around during the e$aver days but not really a classic one. The classic one is a bit different. The design and colors resemble the Standard Chartered savings passbook

Oh by the way, I was issued this card too. Same as yours And as you said, the Standard Chartered wording is bigger. My e$aver account which I already closed about 3 years ago came with the exact same card posted by you

The bank officer told me that it is a "classic" debit card, may be "classic" to his definition means normal plain printed card without the fancy Liverpool logo and players, hahaha

Anyway, I am happy to get this card and offer...

Do they emboss your name on the Classic/Liverpool Debit Card ?

Nope...but you can choose to but it will not be the same as the typical credit card...

They girl that helped me to open my account didn't ask me. She just did it. Well, not that I'm complaining as I do prefer to have my name printed on the card

Ya...actually it is better to have your name printed. Since the bank officer didn't do for me, I didn't bother to ask as I've already waited for 1 day due to the system error.

So I must remember to ask for my name to be printed. Much customised.

Logically only from the branch where you open this new acc.

The CS officer on the phone says I can get my Debit Card ay any SCB Branches (non-Islamic).

Sure? You apply online is it? I went to the branch nearby to open my acc and got my debit card there.

I think what the CS meant is that you can go to any branch to open the new acc except for islamic branch.
Erm, so how you open your acc? online (is this an option)? I mean definitely you are going to get the card from the branch that you open your acc unless you apply through online right? Do I have the option to open my acc at branch A and collect my debit card at branch B? Correct me if I am wrong or I did not catch your question.
Normally I go to the nearby branch and get everything settle that day.

I've already opened my JustOne account on Monday... that day SCB had issue to provide the Debit Card to me.
Thus, I called up SCB to confirm if I can get my Debit Card from other SCB branches (i.e. close to office). They said YES.

okay, first time heard about this. I didn't know such flexibility actually available. Then good for you.

Still untested... trying this Friday
