Do note that the half yearly service fee only applies to the JustOne Current Account. So, in order not to be hit by the RM10 half-yearly service fee, one needs to maintain an average balance of RM1,000 only in the JustOne Current Account every month. But... JustOne Current Account is a non-interest bearing account... well. I guess one can't have it all

QUOTE(jeff_v2 @ Sep 25 2012, 01:07 PM) I had open a supersalary ac when working for my previous employer but now resigned. Well, there are plenty of non-interest bearing current accounts in the market that come with a minimum balance fee. However, this SuperSalary account is a current account that actually pays interest. SCB was quite aggressive in promoting this account a while back. In their pdf and t&c online no mention about the rm100 charges for islamic fee. Had complaint at customer service but they mention it is coz of my balance below rm1k. What type of ca that need at least rm1k balance, somemore ca do not have interest for balance rite? Shitty bank!!! Anyway, in their fees and charges table, it is stated that they generally will waive the RM100 admin fee for Islamic Account and the charge will only be applicable if a customer's account is in access or has exceeded their limit within the month. Not sure what the italic part means. Perhaps if you have time you can pay them a visit ? By the way guys, it seems that Standard Chartered has revised the fees and charges for this recently launched JustOne Account. There is NO MORE below balance fee, account service fee etc. |

I opened this account yesterday and as usual with the two British banks, there was no form to fill
It seems that this JustOne CASA has always been intended as an absolutely fee-free account. Anyway, i can tell you that it is really fee-free and if you open the account now, they can help you to arrange to have your salary transferred from another bank to this JustOne Current Account free of charge. By the way, you need to deposit at least RM1,500 in a single transaction into your JustOne Current Account to entitle for all the freebies and additional 1% interest for your JustOne Savings Account (to be credited at the following month's end). The good news is that you can deposit the RM1,500 and withdraw it right away and you'll still entitle for all the perks that come with this account |

QUOTE(ronnie @ Sep 27 2012, 07:01 PM) Did you ask if the free IBG & MEPS withdrawal fee is RM0 at point of transaction or refunded as credit in account later ? I was informed that I have to pay all the fees first and if I fulfill the RM1,500 deposit requirement for that particular month, all the fees charged earlier will be reimbursed the following month. |

QUOTE(ronnie @ Sep 27 2012, 07:26 PM) Is the IBG fees = RM0.50 for each transaction ? Yes. And RM4 for every successful withdrawal at local MEPS ATM, and RM1 for HOUSE ATM.QUOTE(ronnie @ Sep 27 2012, 07:26 PM) If the fresh fund RM1500 is transfered at 1st of each month, the whole month enjoy free services, right? Correct.QUOTE(ronnie @ Sep 27 2012, 07:26 PM) How does the auto sweep of funds from other banks work? Must be fix amount each month ? I was told it must be fixed and it will be like a SI. Currently this is provided free to everyone who opens this JustOne account during this promotion period. |

QUOTE(Raceroamer @ Sep 28 2012, 01:59 PM) Not necessary need to enter the fresh fund on the 1st of each month right? It can be entered at the end of each month right? As our salary only enters at the end of every month. Yes. But if any reason your company only deposits your salary on the 1st the following month, and you have never deposited at least RM1,500 in a single transaction into your JustOne Current Account for the current month, then you won't be eligible for the free IBG and MEPS/HOUSE ATM cash withdrawals for the current month. |

QUOTE(ronnie @ Sep 28 2012, 11:45 PM) Must it be RM1500 in one shot or can make multiple deposit total up RM1500 ? I just checked again and they still have not deducted the IBG fee from my account. And the money has already been credited to the bank accounts I transferred to yesterday evening.Did check if any charges for IBG ? How was the fund received in the recipient's account ? QUOTE(Raceroamer @ Sep 29 2012, 08:30 AM) As long there is a fresh fund of RM1500 deposited into my account for the current month, then I'll be eligible for all the free stuffs regardless of when I deposit the money in this month right? For an example: My company will only deposit my salary on the 23rd of October, would I be charged if I make a IBG transaction on the 2nd of October the same month? I think most companies only deposit the salary at the end of each month right? Yes. All IBG and local MEPS/HOUSE ATM cash withdrawals are provided free to you for the current month as long as you make a deposit of RM1,500 into your JustOne Current Account in a single transaction on the same month So yes. Your IBG done on 2nd Oct is free because you did fulfill the RM1,500 deposit requirement by making a deposit of at least RM1,500 into your JustOne Current Account in a single transaction on 23rd Oct. |

QUOTE(ronnie @ Sep 29 2012, 04:52 PM) I do hope the IBG and local MEPS/HOUSE ATM cash withdrawals are provided free is PERMANENT FEATURE for JustOne Current Account. Well, they don't provide any of these to their Priority Banking customers. If anyone should get these, it'd be the Priority Banking customers. So I am very happy that this account gives me all these despite having to deposit at least RM1,500 in a single transaction into the JustOne Current Account in order to qualify for all the free stuff it promised for that particular month.QUOTE(ronnie @ Sep 29 2012, 04:52 PM) If I deposit another RM1500 into JustOne Savings Account, does that means I can get FREE IBG and local MEPS/HOUSE ATM cash withdrawals also ? I was told that the RM1,500 must be deposited into the JustOne Current Account and NOT the JustOne Savings Account. By the way, you can't withdraw money through the ATM from your JustOne Savings Account using the debit MasterCard. Your JustOne Savings Account can only be accessed OTC and online banking. QUOTE(ronnie @ Sep 29 2012, 04:52 PM) Yes. It comes with two account numbers. |

QUOTE(Raceroamer @ Oct 2 2012, 02:23 PM) Anyway, this is a good offer by SCB, it would be regrettable to turn down this offer just because of the card...luckily I still managed to get the classic card...hahaha... Mind to share a picture of your classic debit card ? Just want to know how it looks like |

QUOTE(Raceroamer @ Oct 2 2012, 03:16 PM) Same as below but the Standard Chartered wording is bigger and longer, straight in a row instead of 2 rows. The bank officer said they no longer issue this classic debit card as they have been replaced with new Liverpool card. This is not really a classic debit card. This design has been around during the e$aver days but not really a classic one. The classic one is a bit different. The design and colors resemble the Standard Chartered savings passbook ![]() Oh by the way, I was issued this card too. Same as yours This post has been edited by MilesAndMore: Oct 2 2012, 03:30 PM |

QUOTE(Raceroamer @ Oct 4 2012, 04:37 PM) Highlighted should be correct. 2% only starts to count the moment you enter the fresh fund of RM1500. I don't think so. As long as you fulfil the requirement of depositing at least RM1.5K into your JustOne Current Account in that particular month (let say on the 25th), all your balances in the JustOne Savings Account before you deposited the RM1.5K on the 25th will be eligible for the 1% bonus too, not only on the balances starting from 25th. At least this was what i understand according to what the girl that told me this. Besides, there is also no mention in their website that the additional 1% interest is applicable only from the day you make the RM1.5K deposit into your JustOne Savings Account. |
