Steady take-up rates for properties in Cyberjaya

PETALING JAYA: In a recent survey conducted by eight major property developers in Cyberjaya, the average take-up rate for the various developments there was approximately 78% in 2012.

“This year, we foresee the buyer take-up rate improving further compared to last year, as there is a lot more interest and enquiries from discerning investors on the various developments as they continue to recognise and accept the Cyberjaya brand.

“With the announcement of Cyberjaya's new mosque and Chinese primary school, Cyberjaya will definitely be one of the preferred places to work or reside,” pointed out Setia Haruman sales and marketing assistant general manager Liew Yeon Keong.

Eight major property developers, namely, Setia Haruman Sdn Bhd, Mah Sing Group Bhd, MCT Consortium Bhd, SP Setia Bhd, UEM Land Holdings Bhd, the Emkay Group, Paramount Property Development Sdn Bhd and Glomac Bhd will be joining forces for the “Cyberjaya Premier Property Showcase” to be held on April 13 and 14 at Cyberview Resort and Spa, Cyberjaya.

The organisers of the showcase have decided to hold this second instalment to cater to potential property owners and investors wanting to own property within the exclusive postcode of Cyberjaya's intelligent city.

As a modern township, Cyberjaya has the advantage to incorporate many innovative and thematic features into its property products, thereby making them more attractive to discerning buyers.

“We expect the demand for properties in Cyberjaya to strengthen further due to their high competitive marketability,” said Liew.

He also expects the current population base to reach 100,000 people by end-2016.

He added: “Although a portion of the initial buyers are investors, we have seen people steadily moving in to recently completed projects such as Summerglades and Garden Residence.

“It is also normal and a healthy trend where owner-occupiers readily absorb the units put up for sale by the initial investors during the initial period after the properties are developed.

He explained that there is a heightened migration of residents from other matured areas in the Klang Valley to Cyberjaya due to the excellent network of highways and expressways such as the Maju Expressway.

To further cater to public interest and convenience, UOB the sponsor and financier partner for the showcase will be offering various end-financing options to interested consumers during the event.

The two-day event will be held from 10am to 5pm.

If you wanna stay, Jade Hill may be the place for you. But if you wanna invest in Kajang, imho, nothing beats Nadayu 92. Price will increase fast. Dijaya bought the Kajang Hill Golf Club and will revive it. This golf club is just next to Nadayu 92. Some more Kajang 2 which is at the back of Nadayu 92, will have shopping malls, international schools etc. I was blind before but I managed to buy

so Nadayu92 is the best choice if wan to invest in Kajang? I am not familiar with the place at all....

yes, bro. it really it one of the best places you can have there. the price will shoot up fast. I am also deciding whether to get another unit there or jade hills.

My uncle stays in tmn harmoni..they hav to do sumthing abt the abandoned condo..real eye sore..

yeah, i was told by early owners that there is already a plan for it. one top of that, there will be a direct link to nadayu. now the road from 2 ways dont look that promising.

Everytime they launched, almost all sold out in 1 day except bungalow and semi-d. left only 3 bungalows, 4 semi-ds and 1 corner superlink i think.

what is the selling point, and how Nadayu compared to Jade Hills?
