Hi all , I'm new to the site and have some questions about the property chances in Cyberjaya.
Do you guys think the area will have a potential in the next 2-3 years? I haven't been to the area so not sure what's going there. Any tips about buying a soho, condo or landed?

It wlll be great to get some insight info from some of you who are working there or been there.

Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance and speak soon. Cheers, Seamus

Thanks xyyap.

I'm planning to go in the next few weeks. My intention of buying one soho there, have you heard about HYVE? Location is great and I can guess the potential of Cyberjaya after some reading here and other websites, since so many developers are confident and developing the area.

Honestly, I'm thinking to get a small unit to flip it in 3 years after completion to earn a return of 15-25%. However, nothing is certain.

There are many units are being built plus other soho/condos. The other buyers might have the same intention.

So, when the time comes for me to flip, what happens to the market? Who will be buying from me? Will the buyer enjoy a decent rental yield? Is there rental market?

Honestly, I'm trying to get more info on this. Is there anyone can give me some help and advice?

Thanks in advance. Greatly appreciated.

Cheers, Seamus

Read more, The HYVE phase 1 buyer has 59k paper gain, but I don't buy the idea of paper gain.

I don't think Cyberjaya is good for flipper, at least myself won't buy Cyberjaya to flip.

Thanks max_cavalera.

Honestly, not familiar with the territority at all. New to property in fact new to KL & Malaysia. After 15 years overseas.

If 3 years is consider as short term, how about 5 years in total? Holding it for another 2 years? I'm just not sure about the rental market there. I believe a lot of students in the area. And the studio concept will be suitable for singleton - workers or students.

Thanks for your advce though. Cheers Seamus

Thanks xyyap, really appreciate for your replies.

Do you mean the paper gain could be created by the developer themselves? I have heard that phase 1 sold out and they are selling phase 2 and the price is approx 15% higher.

I wish to read more and where could I get all these info? Or can I subscribe to any publications?

Do you think after completion, it has rental value? To hold it for another 2 years then to sell it?

The main reason is the cost of getting one of this unit is very attractive - sounds like too good to be true.

Cheers, Seamus

Too early to tell for rental/flip in nx 3-5 years..could be longer..but no harm in buying if u hav no issue in holding..15 years abroad, should hav more than enough to hold unit in HYVE..😜

We need more iconic buildings in cyber.
Putrajaya has many beautiful skyscrapers however personally don't really like to stay there.
