Where to purchase reseal-able and transparent plastic bag to carry liquid container ? Does LCCT provide the same?
*
I recall KLIA gives free.
LCCT have to buy, forgot is RM1 or around there.
Not sure can use those zip-lock bags buy from Jusco, and those small 100ml containers buy from Watson/Guardian, cause normally I don't hand-carry liquid.

Sure. Go through multiple x-ray until boarding gate. When board the plane, the steward/stewardress may take it from you to keep separately, like those baby-stroller, thick coats/jackets.

Be prepared to wait in the plane, until all passengers dis-embark, then only they will take out those big items for you. Unless you sit first/business class, then they'll pass the coat/jacket to you immediately rolleyes.gif

Something for you to note. In certain airports where it is very strict and overly cautious, they will tell you they need to break open the item or you leave it behind (donate to airport authorities), if they suspect something inside.
e.g.
safety boots / hiking shoes with metal plate inside the bottom-sole. They will break open to see if the metal is really metal.

soft toy - your doraemon/angry-bird/hello-kitty is as good as gone when they operate the stomach and pull out all the innards.

guitar - they may break to see the internal parts.

So, it's your call/risk if you really need to take the guitar along.

Can, why not ?

However, I suggest to put into checked-in luggage. You'll never know some security officers at different airports, may not allow the different sockets due to the pointed-metal.
After all, a simple small nail clipper is also banned. My 5cm (2 inches) nail clipper was consficated at HKIA many years ago.
Yet, my sewing-kit (for emergency) with a few 3-4cm needles brows.gif was never detected or asked before all these years.

Recently carried a small screwdriver 8cm long (to open HDD) in my bag and went through HKIA rolleyes.gif as I forgot to dump it into check-in luggage.

Normally no issue lah. Just to be overly cautious.
In case some readers here get their stuff consficated.

Worse case scenario, they even allow me to carry a 8" screw like a thin pencil, which obviously I can stab anyone on board. I was checked at boarding gate x-ray and they ask me to dig it out for them to inspect.
Of course, I have to tell my own grandfather story to explain the item. sweat.gif

No.

No liquid on board.
Except those purchased in duty-free area.
Since you are domestic flight, not allowed to purchase liquor.

I travel frequently KL/Kota Kinabalu/KL and does not have problem with liquid. Shampoo, toothpaste, mineral water, face cream or whatsoever. But this is with MAS. Not sure if AA apply the same rules.

Thanks for clarification for MAS.

For AA, liquid is permissable IF it is in 100ml bottle/tube/tub. Maximum 10 bottles/tube/tub only per sealable plastic bag.

However, sometimes if the items are small, they won't really bother.

AA also allow you to bring in bottles of water sold at the Boarding Gate area.

Well, i'm not sure about big bottles but i always follow the rules of 100ml and below. Coz I dun wan to risk the full size bottles to be thrown away later if i didn't follow the rules.

But yes, 100ml is allowed for domestic flights.

Also, I don't remember for domestic flights if there is any shops selling drinks or whatever, but last time I did it and it went through.

For MAS, if international flight we have to follow the 100ml rules but not for domestic. I didn't know AA using the same rules for both domestic and international.
