Hi Guys, booked my flight to Incheon on Monday 9 January. Thing is, I accidentally web checked in already. Now I want to upgrade my flight seats to premium (going with my gf) for 2 people.
http://www.airasia.com/my/en/upgradetraveloption.html Can I still upgrade it or after I web check in, I can't? |

Hello guys, I am now in the united states, and my parents are going to visit me sometime in May this year.
Does any of you guys know that am I able to book the flight ticket online, let's say from cathay pacific homepage, from malaysia to USA, and give them the tickets information by sending them the email conformation/itinerary, so that they can check in from malaysia? I am trying to do this because it's so much cheaper to buy a roundtrip flight ticket from here, than it will cost in malaysia. |

QUOTE(zs3889 @ Jan 13 2012, 01:08 PM) Hello guys, I am now in the united states, and my parents are going to visit me sometime in May this year. If the itinerary sent to you by email, why cannot... just resent to your family and ask them to print it. But you need to check how to check later. Like Air Asia can do web check in, so easy. Cathay also have it http://www.cathaypacific.com/cpa/en_INTL/m.../olci/aboutolciDoes any of you guys know that am I able to book the flight ticket online, let's say from cathay pacific homepage, from malaysia to USA, and give them the tickets information by sending them the email conformation/itinerary, so that they can check in from malaysia? Hi, just to add at the 1st post
1) Bring 3in1s like Milo, hot choco, nescafe .Can safe u a lot 2) toiletries /toiletries bag 3) Bring a map of the places u wanna go, no matter if u have a GPS / mobile or so. - having a physical map is always a good practice 4) Torch Light - small led torch using 1battery or than can stand long for at least 1 week. 5) Mosquito repellent. Always comes in handy especially traveling in asean countries 6) Anti-Fog spray. (for those who like to rent snorkel equipment, sometimes if u feel using ur saliva is disgusting to prevent the fog) 7) Itinerary - Are good for trips less then 7days as for me , before i travel , I print this Things to bring list -> my travel check list |

I found this in air asia website. So does that mean that shaving razor is not consider as sharp object? |

QUOTE(kakashi44 @ Feb 10 2012, 08:06 PM) Hi, thank for your reply. Nothing free...One more question does air asia provide free baggage allowance? If yes what is the free baggage allowance? AskAirAsia > Menu Before You Fly > Add-Ons Do you provide free check in baggage allowance? No. If you travel with check in baggage you will be charged a fee at different rates depending on the airport from which you fly. You may access our fee schedule here. Do be aware that you will be charged a flat rate for the first 15kg and a different rate for each additional kg at the airport. You can however save on baggage charges by pre-booking baggage online at airasia.com during the booking process or via Manage My Booking. A minimum of 15kg of checked baggage may be purchased at first instance and you can UPSIZE at the incremental weight of 5kg or SUPERSIZE it to 30kg. If you UPSIZE or SUPERSIZE your baggage four hours or more before scheduled departure, you can save up to 50% on charges. If your actual baggage weight is less than the pre-booked weight, fees paid are non-refundable. However, baggage weight is transferable from one guest to another, if they are travelling on the same itinerary. |

So I bought a bunch of comic books in Japan enough to fit a specialized plastic box for comics in it (it's a big box stuffed with comic books).
I plan to stuff it in my check in baggage on my way back (Or should I carry it all in my handcarry bag?). How likely will I be asked to open it up for inspection? Some of them have rather misleading (things like art of half naked girls) cover art, despite not having any adult contents. |

Some tips of mine:
If you are afraid of bringing your passport out shopping or go to attraction places, create photocopies of your passport, important documents inside your bag. That way, if a police wants your identification, you ca provide them the relevant document. If you are going to do a lot of walking, I would advice you not to wear sandals/flip-flops at all. Based on my own experience after walking around Singapore for 8 hours+, my legs were in so much pain. This is an advise from a website I found where they say take a picture of yourself, and your IC. I know it sounds very crazy but if for instance, you lost your hand phone, or camera, and by some miracle, a very nice person found it. At least, that person would know how to contact you. |

For men, just get a medium sling bag and put all your important documents inside...
