Why would they check on camera films? I'm curious. I've brought tons of camera films, but I've never been checked before.

If it is a MAS flight, I am sure you can ask for a glass of water.

Are we are allowed to bring any liquids into the aeroplance in our cabin bag for Domestic Flights within Malaysia?
I'm aware of the rules on liquids when it comes to international flights but are the rules the same for domestic flights? Many thanks |

QUOTE(Shazzac @ Jul 5 2011, 08:53 AM) I'm also using Celcom. However, whenever I reach a foreign country, first thing i'll do is just get a local sim card so it's easier to get in touch with friends and cheaper too. yaya. getting local sim card is so much economical. easily can get it from 7-11/convenience store for hb, he will on his roaming...but he wont answer his incoming call, but will use the local sim card (another phone ie mine!) to return his client's call. PS:- for digi, remember to cancel ur voice mail service..if not later ended up there is a huge charges on it (hmm i remember for our 1 week at india, his roaming bill is rm300++ , but he never answered his phone, he just let it ring.. only when come back & enquired on d charges, they said all is voice mail. apala... told him to pick up & simple said he was at overseas This post has been edited by davinci_maggie: Sep 29 2011, 01:38 PM |

QUOTE(davinci_maggie @ Sep 29 2011, 01:37 PM) yaya. getting local sim card is so much economical. easily can get it from 7-11/convenience store Since you already have a foreign local sim card, you can use international call forwarding service to forward all incoming calls from Malaysia callers to your foreign local phone number at a very cheap rate (example India is 10sen /min). No need to call back the caller, just answer the phone and take your time to talk coz it only cost you 10sen per min, for hb, he will on his roaming...but he wont answer his incoming call, but will use the local sim card (another phone ie mine!) to return his client's call. QUOTE(yana_adell @ Oct 7 2011, 04:12 PM) hai, Do make use of Air Asia's website 'search' box. All can be found at their website.i need some advice on the travelling as this will be the first time for us travel out from country i m not so clear abt the luggage & the way to settle in airport, really blur now.. huhu What is the size & weight for the luggage if using AirAsia. Can i bring lotsa dry food like maggi, nescafe / tea How abt the toiletries.. I heard the max is 100ml per item (not so clear is it only for carry bag/ we can bring more in big luggage) And what to do in airport, need help here =( 1) Cabin Baggage QUOTE 8.6 Unchecked Baggage: Passengers (except infants) are allowed two (2) items of baggage to be carried on board. The items of baggage may be a combination of any two of the following: cabin bag or a laptop bag or a handbag. The cabin bag shall not exceed the dimensions of 56cm X 36cm X 23cm and must not weigh more than 7kg. Such baggage must fit under the seat in front of you or in an enclosed storage compartment in the cabin. Items determined by us to be of excessive weight or size or of an offensive nature will not be permitted on board. Subject to the prevalent applicable local laws and regulations passengers may take liquids on board in their hand luggage provided they meet the following restrictions: The liquid is in a container with a maximum volume of 100ml That all liquid containers meeting the maximum volume of 100ml each can be fitted comfortably into a transparent, re-sealable 1 litre plastic bag The plastic bag should be presented separately at security. You may be required to dispose of liquids which do not meet the above requirements. 2) Check In Luggage - Depends if you have bought 15kg, etc. Size does not matter as long as you do not exceed the weight purchased. Else need to top it up at the airport for a higher fee. 3) Yes you can bring dry food out of Malaysia but the question is - will the country that you are entering are allowing you to do so. Why need to bring all those when you can buy it where you are at? 4) Toiletries - refer no 1). - It means that total must not exceed 1litre. That also means you can only bring 10 different liquid bottles of 100ml each. 5) What to do in Airport? - WTH?!?!?! Eat, sit, go online (if got free wifi), go toilet, check out duty free shop. |

Check In Luggage = Luggage that you check in 3) Should be able to find but your food items MIGHT get rejected if the country does not allow food products in their country. 4) This is for cabin luggage. For Check In Luggage - you want to bring 1 tonne also can. 5) Change itinerary for? - if u have checked in via web, go straight to baggage drop counter. If not, head towards check in counter to check in. - Check your ticket what time you are supposed to be at the gate area. If it's time, head towards the immigration and get your passport scanned/stamped. - Wait at the gate until they call you for boarding. - There are usually cafes and duty free shops at the gate area if you want to eat/shop for something. |
