They don't check identifications for entering Langkawi for domestic arrivals. The temporary MyCard is also a valid IC should you need to prove your identity and you still have driving licences, Bankcards etc. Unless you look like a Bangladeshi like my friend, then you may need to show MyCard everywhere you go. Ha,ha,ha,ha,ha
