On the other hand, since these are priority markets, it may cause delays reaching our shores due to low supply high demand. Let's see.

It's only a preview on WP8, just so everyone is clear.
*
Didn't know it's still only a preview/beta. It's weird because they promote it quite extensively, market it as one of the plus points for WP8 but then it isn't ready.

Same can be said about Nokia exclusive apps. ESPN, words for friends and another game (can't remember the name), they just do not work. It's a suicidal 'strategy'.

Luckily what u heard from nokia mid valley, 920 is only coming in january. Hopefully by then they have fixed most if not all the bugs, including email bug, and camera performance.

So that's the price we should expect here, RM2,150. Or should we expect 20% less?

I did not in anyway mention that Skype would be WP8's holy grail. All I said was, the app is marked as Preview for a reason. It's just not ready, so use at your own risk, for now. I made it clear very clear near the end. I reserve my judgement til it's official and review is out. No point we diss it when it isn't even final build nor is it being reviewed officially. That's is very unfair to the product and company.

As for your bad experiences, I don't know where the "tech guy" thing comes in, but the last I checked, the world is full of choices. You're free to choose anything you want as long as it fits you / your style / your taste. I wasn't in any way forcing you to come back to try it on WP8, just don't degrade it when it's not even official, the message is as simple as that.

Also, just to be clear, I wasn't exactly defending it just because it's a Microsoft product. If it sucks, it sucks, it's that simple. I just happen to like being able to access all of Microsoft's services on our gadgets, hence my choice of platform.

Oh and just to share my experience, in China, Skype is still one of the main tools / platforms they use to deal with international businesses and I happen to have dealt with many in the past few weeks.

Joonchai, no point arguing with aspire2oo6. He's an android and Note 2 troll. Anything you say or did not say will be twisted by him as well. I'm looki g for the ignore button in this forum but could not find it yet.

I believe you're talking about Draw Something? Good thing Nokia's suite of exclusive apps like Drive / Maps work as intended and I have no complaints in this regard. Hopefully by the time it's released here in Malaysia, Skype would be in Gold.

As for the email bug, are you referring to Gmail sync'ing bug? That's on Google's court according to WPCentral. It's because of their non-standard IMAP protocol. As for camera, agreed. Daylight / nightshots are equally important.

As for all other "bugs", the ball is at Microsoft's feet now. Get the act together before January or risk getting wiped off by BB10.

There's an ignore button just on every member's page, just click on one's name and choose ignore user.

but you can choose not to reply him/her or you can choose not to read too.

Coming back to WP8 discussion, still no news on WP7.8?

From wmpoweruser.com

http://wmpoweruser.com/windows-phone-7-8-f...training-slide/

A leaked Nokia training slide has detailed the Windows Phone 7.8 features users can expect when they upgrade.

They include of course the new start screen with 3 tile sizes, but also an improved lock screen, Bing wallpapers, 20 theme colours, IE browser security upgrades and editing MP3s as ring tones.

Other expected features not shown in the slide, includes sharing multimedia files via Bluetooth and a contacts transfer/sharing application.

That is quite a reasonable haul, especially it seems the full start screen experience from Windows Phone 8, including Bing Wallpapers.

well "someone" is not worshiping any brand (like what he said), but definitely "worshiping himself" and eager to convince others that he's a trend setter or world's ruler, worse still he's trying as hard as he could to convert others to follow his behaviour with all efforts he could afford.

basically what he's liking will automatically become the best of one kind, and no others can criticize on him because that's what opposing to the laws of nature..he's just the god of everyone, how scary ish that and I pissed my pants derp dee derp

P.S: I wonder how many ppl got into his "ignore list" for having opposite opinions with his, maybe someday everyone will got into his list, and he can no longer to have discussion with others and could only post and replying himself

Just paid for my pre-order for a Yellow 920. Got to play with it at the Nokia store. Feels really nice and I have no complaints about the weight. Can't wait to et my hands on it next week or latest, 10 days from now. I saw that they have Whatsapp installed in the phone as well.

no complains about the weight? Its the biggest gripe about this phone for now actually. So much so that i am considering the 8X. But then the Nokia exclusive apps are pulling me back to 920.
