QUOTE(kuroneko0509 @ Nov 15 2012, 01:23 PM) you preordered it from where? I'm in the middle east , not in Malaysia. So pre-ordered it today when I went to the Mall and saw the Nokia store. They had the Yellow 920 to play with and I have to say the build is awesome. Added on November 15, 2012, 6:34 pmQUOTE(prash @ Nov 15 2012, 01:26 PM) no complains about the weight? Its the biggest gripe about this phone for now actually. So much so that i am considering the 8X. But then the Nokia exclusive apps are pulling me back to 920. I've been using the iPhone 4s and it's 145 grams naked. The Lumia 920 is 185 grams so that's an extra 40g. I don't usually carry the 4s naked and I usually have it with the Battery Pack Morphie Juice Air which not only makes the iPhone 4s bulky, it also adds probably another 80-100 grams to the weight so having the 920 in my hand naked seems okay to me. It does feel a bit huge as compared to the 4s and I'm sure I will love the size. The new iPhone 5 is 113 grams and you can actually feel that it's light BUT almost everyone will have their iPhone 5 with a casing which will add another 30-40 grams to it so I don't see any reason to complain about the added weight for the 920. A bit disappointed that it doesn't come with the charging plate though. I mean, it's SAR2499 (RM2050) and not getting a charging plate (they say it will cost and extra 150-200) is disappointing. The offer in the UK also came after the launch dates and pre-orders were made. Anyway, that is fine. I'm planning to buy 2 charging plate. One for home and one for the office. Maybe I'll order the Fatboy pillow Next is to see when the JBL speakers are coming out.

I've been reading in wpcentral and they have some discussions about the Charging Stand. I'm wondering how it looks like. Does it charge wirelessly as well?
Added on November 15, 2012, 6:55 pmJust saw the Charging stand .... Ohh man they look sweet. Will definitely buy one for the office.

QUOTE(jonchai @ Nov 15 2012, 03:47 PM) I believe you're talking about Draw Something? Good thing Nokia's suite of exclusive apps like Drive / Maps work as intended and I have no complaints in this regard. Hopefully by the time it's released here in Malaysia, Skype would be in Gold. As for the email bug, are you referring to Gmail sync'ing bug? That's on Google's court according to WPCentral. It's because of their non-standard IMAP protocol. As for camera, agreed. Daylight / nightshots are equally important. As for all other "bugs", the ball is at Microsoft's feet now. Get the act together before January or risk getting wiped off by BB10. Yes draw something. I don't think WP could ask for more attention than they are getting now. Presenting ppl with half arsed '46 out of top 50' apps is suicidal and only confirm ppl's previous perception towards WP. I agree drive & maps are great. They are a big draw for me to 920. If they some how managed to screw those up in WP that would be the end of it. About the email bug, yes I was referring to gmail. I don't know what causes the bug and the thing is, I shouldn't know. What I should know is it's fully working on WP so i could use it. Microsoft needs to do more to make sure features/apps on their phones are working as intended. If they have to pay google or whatever, do it. They are sadly not in the position to bargain and play hardball.

With regards to the Gmail bug, it only happens when you use IMAP (whereby you sync contacts, mails and calendars). It doesn't happen to POP. The issue can also be replicated on iOS. This would give you a better idea.

I really like Nokia's Map/Drive, does a great job on navigating around the city, it certainly comes in handy in many ways. But, you can't really rely on it every time and sometimes you just have to count on your experience and familiar-ness with the roads. Couple of times I've traveled to Cyberjaya, there were plenty of routes to there but the Nokia Drive picked the longest route.

I'm interested on their latest Nokia Here. and next would be Google's latest turn-by-turn map voice navigation, this is somewhat really interesting from what I've saw just now, internet search integration with gps map (search for an event and google can navigate to the event place), pretty cool if you ask me but it requires you to be online. So far I'm having the best experience on offline navigation with Nokia Drive. This post has been edited by s7ran9er: Nov 16 2012, 12:27 AM

I'm checking the prices the accessories and they are quite pricey in the UK. The charging plate is going for GBP59, the Charging stand is going for GBP69 and the JBL speakers for GBP144 ... yikes.

I'm planning to get the plate for the house and the stand for the office and the speakers for the house .... so the damage is going to be significant ... damn. RM350 for the stand is ridiculous though .... I can understand the JBL speakers being RM700++ but charging plate and stand north of 300 is absurd.
