Once you've tried Nokia's, you won't look back, it's that simple.

What Jonchai said is true, you'll get Nokia Drive on HTC WP8 devices and all the rest of WP8 as well. brows.gif

Unfortunately...

There's no news for other WP7 devices.

Aside that, I've tried Sygic on my dad's Android device, gotta say I'm impressed by the performance and UI of that app but it cost a lot (RM95) according to a forummer there and the POIs weren't really that much. Which is why I'm looking forward for Nokia's Here. laugh.gif

The Lumia 920 is selling out all over the world so I don't know how the AP resellers are going to get their hands on the units. If they do get some units, it will probably be pricey. I'm counting the days to get my hands on the yellow 920. I hope that I get a good unit, I've heard that some units comes with dead pixels etc so here's hoping that mine is okay .....

Ohh Ooooh. That's not good. Seems like the first batch gets dust underneath easily and I live in a dusty environment whta with sand storms and what not .... not good, not good at all.

Once I get my hands on it I'll do a short review of the things I like and what not. I hav an app called PocketMoney (Catamount Software) that I use extensively and I don't believe they have any version for the windows phone which is going to be a problem.

This app (PocketMoney) is one that tracks what you spend etc so at the end of the day you can have a look at the bank balance, credit card balance etc. I have information going back to 2007 so I hate losing all the information. It's like MS Money or Quicken for the Smartphone. Any alternatives (espcially ones that can import QIF files) will be much appreciated.

Added on November 17, 2012, 9:00 pmFunny thing was, they started the app in PocketPC! But they are now concentrating exclusively for Android and iOS .....

This sucks. sad.gif To me, no point in getting a new phone later than2 month after its launch in other countries (unlike some people who wait for prices to drop) when it will be outdated in 6-8 months in terms of specs. I dont mind paying high to be an early adopter.

it depends on which app/live tiles. if simple like sms etc no need for data connection. but for others like fb, weather app need the data connection to update...
