QUOTE(_707027_ @ Apr 25 2014, 09:45 PM) Guys, can suggest me a monitor with a budget around RM850? U2412M by just adding another RM100 and you will get 16:10 1920*1200 which is bigger than full HD Primarily for gaming, watching movie as well as doing Word/Excel. Currently eyeing for Dell U2414H, but need more choices before I can make up my mind. I'm not that tech savvy towards monitors and hope to get the best from my budget. Any suggestions are welcome. The cheaper the better |

Not going to upgrade just bit, if want upgrade one shot 1440p (1600p for richie) or 4K (another few more years maybe?). 4K is not going common soon even with those branding rushing and advertising over it, it is just to let the world know of its existence, just like how the 1080p was first introduced into the market (Blu-ray makes the kick-start). Some more I'm still using VGA with some of my PC/laptop, and just recently bought KVM just for them. |

Black Friday is still quite a ways away. I was tempted to get a Korean 1440p monitor instead of the Dell. Went for the Dell due to assurance and also because I wont be upgrading my graphics card anytime soon. |

Was thinking of getting a QNIX but I hear alot of people stated they were using sub par or rejected panels. But again Dell cost an absolute Shit ton more then those Korean screens. So im not sure. Still looking around for 24/27 inch models with 1200/1440p.Haha I don't mind waiting. Wanna make sure I make the right purchase. Currently using a Toshiba TV as a make shift stand in atm. |

haha ok looking all sifus discuss about 1440p & 4K display
i would like to advice for people who dont know, that on their search for new monitor. if u do gaming with pc, u r advice to get a decent graphic card also if u want to run it smoothly. for 1440p resolution, u might want to consider r9 270x-ish kinda card at Least. for 4K resolution, is r9 280x-ish kinda card at Least. so for higher resolution means more horse power needed. but if u just looking for same resolution as current (example 1080p), but only bigger in size such as 22,23,24inch then u hav nothing to think about, cards or etc. |
