Hi everybody,

I have buy a LG Flatron 22" (LED) and Asus HD7770 VGA but inside the monitor box, it give me the VGA cable and DVI converter which using for plug it into VGA card because the card doesn't reserve a VGA port. Just a DVI,HDMI and Mini what2 entah..tak ingat. When I play game, sometimes it hang on screen and the screen off and on and the game continue. Why is that? I ask my friend, he said maybe it because of the converter is not good as the actual cable. At my monitor, it serve VGA and DVI cable..
Someone expert or having experience, come at me bro..tell me your stories.. rclxms.gif

me not expert but i also facing same problem, i'm also on lg monitor e2050
using dvi to hdmi cable connect to ps3, sometime the screen suddenly blank for a second then it get back up again. but it only happen sometime la.
i'm also think its cause of the converter cable cuz the monitor works excellent when i'm using it wit pc (vga).

Guys, which one of these 2 is more worth buying? Dell S2340L or Ultrasharp U2312HM?
*

my opinion for all rounder usage is the U2312hm cause of its connectivity (vga, dvi, hdmi n usb), so i think this model is more practical to use wit of course pc then other device like bluray player or gaming console ..

i own the S2340L which i bought specially to couple wit ps3, gaming n watch 1080p movie n to me it has a great picture quality,, i mean i dont even hav to change any settings cuz default preset mode is already can produce beautiful picture ( to my eyes la haha ). Cons. if u ask me ; its the glossy screen and this glossy thing is really not for everyone, some love it n some hate it.

Is the AOC I2369VM good? Read the reviews around the web, it has an AH-IPS panel, built in speaker and has HDMI ports. I'm thinking purchasing it. Or are there any other monitor that falls into the same category as it?
*
i think its best if u find other monitor with more decent specs with similar prices. build in speaker features on monitors wont do much cuz we only can hear treble out of it, its different with tv speaker. even cheap tv has better speaker. but if the monitor has audio out, then its ok.

as many of us discuss about DELL, yes i reccomend a Dell, any model will do, cos of the customer service especially when it comes to warranty claim. i have claim mine, cuz the monitor screen has 'burn in' after moderate usage of 8months. after couple of calls & email sent, the courier guy come to my house bring a replacement unit on the next day without further question ask.
so after the incident, i'll definitely buy Dell for my next purchase..theres nothing to worried if the product might not work within 3years period. smile.gif

Just went to lowyat today and asked almost all the shops and none of them is selling the AOC i2369vm  sad.gif  , I think the model is defunct already. Bought LG 23EA63V-P instead since I have bought LG products before and they're all working well. For Dell the only reason I didn't pick them is that it doesn't have hdmi. I have a console so its a bit of hassle to buy a converter for it to work.
*
wow haha nice, me also hav LG since 2010. the monitor still alive n working. I couple it with Dell using extended display option in windows.
Ur monitor usage r similar with me, also using it for ps3 gaming. hdmi port is really important if we hav a console...hdmi + an audio jack is a bonus.
About the lack of hdmi in Dell, yes I agree cos in mid price range i saw only S series have offer hdmi input.. thats why i take the S series.

So anyway, enjoy ur new monitor bro. smile.gif laugh.gif

Any dell monitor to recommend? Budget around rm500
*
if i were u i consider a dell E2414H cos of its 24inch screen. its always convenient to have bigger screen. i think for its price, its worth it, the color quite decent too smile.gif
but if u search for better color, get an IPS.

haha ok looking all sifus discuss about 1440p & 4K display
i would like to advice for people who dont know, that on their search for new monitor.
if u do gaming with pc,
u r advice to get a decent graphic card also if u want to run it smoothly.
for 1440p resolution, u might want to consider r9 270x-ish kinda card at Least.
for 4K resolution, is r9 280x-ish kinda card at Least.

so for higher resolution means more horse power needed.
but if u just looking for same resolution as current (example 1080p), but only bigger in size such as 22,23,24inch then u hav nothing to think about, cards or etc. cool.gif

Guys I need recommendation for monitor which support 75hz in 1024x768 and 800x600 in low budget.. if possible 2ms respond time will be preferable..

If you ask why I do need it.. I can tell I'm a competitive gamer and I could tell there is difference for me..
*

for ur case my fren, i think u better survey at tv/electronic repair shops, old shop should hav it, there might selling 2nd hand monitor.
a crt monitor will suites u better wit ur usage.
