Owen is a free agent so does that mean if we sign him we can straight away play him? Or do we have to wait for the jan transfer window?
*
Free-agent is not bound by the official rules of the transfer deadlines. We can sign him now but if i'm not mistaken, we need to sign him before the official announcement of the official 25 players?

If we register him by Tuesday then he can play a part and does not have to wait for January.

And for F's sake, drop Reina for good. He has been piss poor since end of last season. I wan JONES and where the heck is Doni???? What the heck!

P.S: Sterling is a god damn beast! rclxm9.gif

Doni has gone back to Brazil .. some personal issues last i read. Reina has been sloppy. He should have used his legs for the 2nd goal. Much easier to drop to the floor and make the stop.

At least Owen can teach Suarez and Borini a thing or two about scoring and that itself is already value adding.

Harsh. Borini was bought as CF but he's been used out wide. Suarez is just hitting some bad form at the moment. We all know he can score for fun.

Get Owen..Pay as you play doesn't sound bad..gives us a back up to SCORING.. and i think it will help him retire with a better conscience than being Judas.. tongue.gif

BTW, maybe we can hijack a deal for Del Piero too? Free agent..good technical player..would suit our play..Owen and Del Piero, to teach Suarez and Borini to score simple goals.. rclxms.gif

That being the case either BR has bought the wrong player, a winger instead of Borini or he got his tactics wrong, either way he plays a part in it.

I don't think we are in disasterous situation no doubt the result has been the worst in 50 years. Of course, by looking at the table we are at #20. hahahaa...

I do see some positive that the team are transitioning in to the passing style and some times some of the senior members are lost, making mistake obviously like Gerrard.

Besides, some of the forumers were right that Suarez is simply not the natural born striker, and I strongly agree we bring back Owen. He is the natural born striker and have that ind of instinct, but we still need an unselfish Suarez then only can score goals. Once Owen is in place, Suarez can free up and have more freedom because he can create chance but not convert the chance.

Nearly compel to write, SSDD - same shit different day - SSDD, but i see more positives this time, like how sterling kept going....like how desperate Allen became, like how industrious Suarez was in the game, like how Shelvey attempt to make things happen - otherwise our captain is still clueless...neither here nor there...remember how we criticizes CHarlie Adam for his less than 1 million corner, SG's corner is just as bad - SG's freekick is not measuring up, and worse not a single goal attempt, he is not protecting the back 4, and he is not offering any threat in attack....I am not blaming the problem solely on SG but he is the captain - if the squad is not performing,,,who do i look for - the captain!!

As for Borini, yes he is not effective tonight, but, he compensate it with industry, just like what Kuyt used to do...

Finally, just like previous matches, Liverpool nowadays simply lack will and determination - players kinda deflated after the 1st goal, and the 2nd goal - Skrtle dont even slide in to block!! WTF???? Reina is fully exposed for the 2nd goal....

The way I see it, Suarez trick twisting n turning are not as effective as in previous season coz the defenders have learned about it and are more prepared. I guess he needs to improvise more.

Correct me, but I think it was Downing caught ball watching as Cazorla stroll pass him into the box

Looked at those goals again and the gooners were playing tiki taka with a purpose and broked us down effectively while we're trying so hard with our tiki-taka but heading nowhere.
