From today match, can clearly see that Gerrard, Suarez, Borini, Johnson is under perform.
Sterling, Allen is very good. Sahin, Shelvey, and Downing is average. Seriously, I wanted to see more of Shelvey, let him in the starting line up once in a while, and we really need a good goal poacher. Haizz, even the commentator is sigh-ing and says "oh here we go, a good chance and no goal, I wonder when will Liv put in a goal." |

QUOTE(.:zaxiao:. @ Sep 2 2012, 10:49 PM) The million dollar question every Liverpool fan is asking now. I bet BR is pissed right now. The only liable option we have is Owen. Traitor or not, he was and is still one of the legendary strikers we had in the 90s. It's that or promote the likes of Morgan and Suso. |

I take comfort in the fact that I predicted the score line correctly. Alas, Arsenal win not us.

Reina is off, Gerrard is off, suarez determine as always but unable to finish the game yet, borini is off, downing even did better than borini.. I'd say next game take gerrard and borini off, try playing shelvey at gerrards position or maybe sahin or allen at gerrard position, give downing a game.
And heck, against arsenal we should try to make more direct play. If only carroll still with us. Btw any1 noe whether there's option to recall for carrollv This post has been edited by LucasPSS: Sep 2 2012, 10:56 PM |

QUOTE(Petre @ Sep 2 2012, 08:39 AM) suarez can never score enough goals for us, at least until now. the problem with suarez is he tries to do everything by himself. Could see him switching position from the cf position to anywhere else on the field even though we already have lots of mf to support. I think suarez should focus on doing his job as a cf and let the creativity to flow from the midfielders.time to gamble with young morgan, suso or whoever we have. suarez is not our CF. i believe owen could have done better. how ironic. saving face with 1m vs fulham just to get owen back. someone must be very wrong in the head |

I'm not sure what's the purpose of Borini on the field, he doesn't try hard enough and he's without a purpose on the field. How many games more does he need to get himself familiarise with the game? Most probably the pace and the physical side of things is too much for him to handle. We need to break up this Stevie-Suarez combo, it has proved to be nothing but a disaster of late. Looks like teams are scoring goals on the counter like what Man City did and yet BR did nothing about it.

We've been deceived by his skills, yes he can dribble pass defenders sometimes but not all the time and we have to knock some sense into him from this very minute that football is a team game and he don't play for himself but for the team and the club. I'm surprised BR doesn't sees that and ask him to change his approach, not to mention playing with his head down, how is he gonna know where his fellow teamates are in a better scoring position. Pepe is shocking of late, he's helping in goals more than stopping it. The signs were there in the Hearts game and BR took it as a one off game.

Being a long time faithful REDS fan, I'm getting really sick after our defeat tonight! I really dun see anything diff from last season or so. Few new faces came in and a new Manager. But same boring game and result. Gerrard said we are ready to challenge top 4 this year, I dun think so! Sadly, I feel we are mid table team now. I know reality hurts but I dun really see where or how we are challenging top 4 this season. Some may say it's still too early, players need time to gel bla...bla..bla... I just dun see any hope with the current situation.
Last time, before a match I would always wondering how many goals we will win? Will someone else score tonight coz I'm sick of seeing Owen scores every match then it changed to Torres, will Heskey score tonight? Will Hamman or Riise shoot a thunderbolt tonight? You know the excitement and expectation were so high! Sadly it all changed drastically ever since Roy took over then KD and now BR..... Same old probs up front, Suarez is not the goal scorer type we hoped for, he is best to play behind a striker or as winger. Borini simply not good enuff and I think we are going to struggle to score again this season just like the last. Traitor or not, I really hope we will bring in Owen at least for this season.... I don't see "Swansea" football style which introduce by BR in current team. Mean, our player doesn't follow what our manager instruct?
