QUOTE(azam_halim @ Sep 3 2012, 12:53 AM) carroll was only allowed to leave for loan when BR is confident we will get sturridge or/and dempsey...however since chelsea cant get Schurrle, sturridge is staying...and we only bid 4m for dempsey when spurs bid 6m.. btw, i tought carroll is only loaned out for a year...we can always recall him back whenever we want since he is still our player. he will only become whu player if whu pays the agreed fee next season...am i right? Nope, the recalling clause usually only applies for younger players when you send him out on loan for experience for free and maybe the loaning club paying wages only. Carroll's loan involves a loan fee so it wouldn't make sense for that clause to be inserted. If you lease out a property at a fee will the other person be willing to accept the fact that you can recall at any time? If I borrow you a pen for 10 bux for 10 days but I recall it on day 2, does it make sense?

Let's be honest here, even with AC + Suarez + Borini, RVP will still be better than any of them, miiiillleesss better.

MU leading 3-2. What a comeback. I don't see Lpool embody the same spirit. The problem still persists regardless BR or KD era. We look really lost in final 3rd. Need not single out Suarez, Borini & Gerrard. The team has been performing like this since Rafa's final season. What's wrong? We never create any clear cut chances anymore.
We should have the Air asia motto. Now everyone can beat Liverpool. Seriously, there is not a single game where we can waltz past the opposition nowadays.
Owen coming back? U guys must be joking. Apart from him being a traitor, what good is he? If he has any sort of value, Fergie wouldn't release him. And wonder why is he still without a club? He won't be our saviour and he does not solve our attacking options woe bcoz he is way way past his prime.
Someone mentioned teka-teki earlier instead of tiki taka. I agree with u. If Lpool loses to Sunderland next week, very likely we would succumb to a defeat to MU. I hope I'm wrong.

QUOTE(MamulaMoon @ Sep 3 2012, 01:04 AM) We've got Van Persie, 4 goals already this season...!!! what a signing... RVP probaply felt like Usain Bolt on steroids now compare to his time with arsenal... the type of player Liverpool need.

Individually by comparing 1 on 1, I don't think our players are inferior to Top 4 teams. It is the tactics that is the problem. No point dominating and having the most possession if we do not create chances. Possession alone doesn't win you games. BR need to hire a coach that is good in playmaking.

Suddenly Suarez isn't fit to lace RVP's boots. Shame on you lads.
You were probably singing a different tune when he made 5 united defenders look like mugs.

Liverpool were condemned to their worst start to a season for half a century as Lukas Podolski and Santi Cazorla gave Arsenal a 2-0 victory at Anfield. On what would have been Bill Shankly's 99th birthday, the Reds equaled the record of his newly promoted side in 1962-63 by collecting just one point from their opening three games. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/...ce-1962?cc=4716No b'day gift for Shankly. He must be weeping in heaven with the turn of events at his beloved club. This post has been edited by etseleste: Sep 3 2012, 01:14 AM

Suarez was never the prolific goalscorer type such as the likes of RVP and Falcao. IMO, the main reason why he does well in his national team is because he has Cavani by his side who attracts the defenders from Suarez enabling him to perform his magic.
