I have a question on Younique Rebates.
If I spend RM3000, how much rebate?

3000 x 3% = 90
OR
(1000 x 0.5%) + (1000 x 1.5%) + (1000 x 3%) = 30

which one? no cap on rebate?

correction:

(1000 x 0.5%) + (1000 x 1.5%) + (1000 x 3%) = 5 + 15 + 30 = RM50...

No cap ... but after RM3k it's only 0.3%

eg: 12th statement date, cashback at 13th. so the cashback is not calculated as part of your current statement balance

Effectively 1.67%, not competitive/attractive compared to other cash rebate cards, eg WISE, PBB VS, VOX, CIMB CR

But the CB can be deducted from statement....

This card has the least requirement to get cash back... no special categories, minimum swipes, minimum amount, etc. Actually it is pretty good for high value transaction such as insurance.

Anyone know what is the minimun credit limit for alliance visa infinite and platinium card?

Alliance bank sent me a new payWave enable card to replace the old one. I need to collect it at the courier service centre as I am not at home when they sent the card.
But I am planning to cancel the card and just recently redeem all the points. Could I just cancel the card without collect the new one?

Of course you could do that. The bank will then redirect the card back to them.

Called in to cancel my card. I was asked to download and fill in multi pages form. So irritating

why so hassle compare to other bank?

did not have cc from this bank.. you might give CS a second call to confirm about this.. normally no need to fill any form ... unless u go to alliance bank branch then they will ask you to sign form and cut the card in front of you

i still have the plat card. will change to younique to get CB for the balance of my spending. the rest is under better paying cards. i think its OK to use for spending that otherwise doesnt get any CB at all and big ticket due to no cap. i have not spend much on the card, basically running some old IPP plans out only since they cut the CB.
