Just want to add a story from my experience. I called them to increase my credit limit, and sometime later I got an email to send them my IC, their form and my payslip.
I sent the requested docs and then a few days later they requested me to send my EPF slip. And I gave it to them. A few days later, they requested my bank statement. I got frustrated and just asked them to cancel the application. It does seem like they don't trust their customers. If they have my payslip and EPF statements, why would they need my bank statement. And if they do need these documents, why not ask them in the first place rather than keep asking for additional docs every few days. Edit: Bonus story. A couple of months before that I applied for VI (I had their Plat card before), they ask for my payslip. I changed company since I applied for the Plat card, so they said I need to change the address. I can't do this through email, I need to spell out the address over the phone and a few hours later another guy calls and confirm the address by spelling out the address again over the phone. For a bank that won digital banking award or whatever, it's kinda ridiculous. But their VI card is quite good for overseas spending so I'll put up for now. The officer who handled my application just informed me that my card is approved.
Also, I checked eCCRIS, it still shows "pending". |

That's right, someone will call you for verification and it's all the basic questions. After this, you can already use the card. Also, I checked eCCRIS, it still shows "pending". CCRIS is always delayed in the updates (as they claimed the delay were from the banks!) |

How long does it take for the card to reach us?CCRIS is always delayed in the updates (as they claimed the delay were from the banks!) Really? It is always very fast for me in terms of card application. Once it is approved, it will be reflected as approved and if rejected, it will disappear. |

An update, I got my verification call at around 3.30 p.m. yesterday. The CS asked me several basic questions, but one of them was rather weird. I put my hometown address as the permanent address and my sister's house address as the residential address (I'm now living at her house most of the time). She asked if I had any other addresses besides these? I was puzzled. Then, she asked what about any address at another place? I answered yes, and it is my own house at KL. Then, she said there was no need for me to read out the full address; just the area would do.
She also asked if I have any hire purchase loans with other banks.. What an "extraordinary" bank. Anyway, long story short. The CL being granted is slightly lower than my one-month salary. I must say it is a very conservative bank. I received the activation code this morning, and I guess I will get the card soon. My story is finally ending. I'm relieved. |

I just did it a few months ago .She also asked if I have any hire purchase loans with other banks.. What an "extraordinary" bank. Anyway, long story short. QUOTE(stpmmaths @ Jun 8 2022, 03:28 PM) I would say, an Okay CL? RM 2xxxx. But i do find out that it depends on your CCRIS/CTOS, monthly payout/salary, payment behavior history, etc. My bro also got VI from Alliance, but his CL is about 60% of mine. guanteik liked this post

QUOTE(stpmmaths @ Jun 8 2022, 03:28 PM) the credit limit they given is very low...probably the lowest among all the cc I applied before, hahaha!i did contact their CS to ask whether is it possible to increase the credit limit, they said you can apply for the increase after 6 months... since they already capped the points limit, I guess it is also meaningless to ask them to increase the credit limit.. |
