i hope it works.... but arent this function only works when your no making used of the hdd (reading file or writing file) for 20min? I was like playing games and serving online and it suddenly freeze for 5-10sec.

The HDD parks its heads when it isn't being utilized. Usually so called "green" HDDs does this to "consume" power, that's why you are experiencing the sudden freezing.

Just turn off all your power consumption options, by that I also mean disable hibernating, don't turn off HDD, no auto standby, etc.
You're running a desktop, not a laptop. So, no need for any power savings. It makes no sense as the consumption is too little to be saving you any electric bills.

yah gonna try.... before this is suspect my secondary hdd causing the freeze becoz it automatic goes into hibernation after 20min (becoz they is still some background paging stuff running) so i suspect it was the reason for the freeze. But damn it wasnt. Check lots of forum online today, will try the disable hdd into hibernation again.

The e-tailer is letting you nab OCZ's Vertex 3 240GB for only $132.99 after a $20 mail-in rebate and a 10%-off coupon code (HARDOCPX919A). That price includes free shipping. You're looking at a final cost per gigabyte of just 55 cents, which is pretty darn cheap for a state-of-the-art SandForce SF-2281 drive with Serial ATA 6Gbps connectivity and peak transfer rates north of 500MB/s. (Thanks to Slickdeals for the heads-up on this one.)

getting cheaper now?? thats abt RM425 for 240GB vertex3

RM 350 for SSD, not sure bout msata, at least in Lowyat plaza. Check in the link provided above to see which shop sell em.

Crucial got it's 5K hours bug fixed in latest firmware, so make sure to update it ASAP. Intel SSD is reliable, but with the latest '8 MB bug' and lack of Intel response to it....well, your take. We have Samsung too, but it might cost a bit more.

Hey Skycrawler, add me to the list too! ^^ Crucial M4 128GB user here reporting! icon_rolleyes.gif

No, the Intel '8mb' bug happened on the 320 series. A thing of the past, was annoying when it happened though.
