hi, you mean the intel '8 MB bug' happens on intel 330 series?

No, the Intel '8mb' bug happened on the 320 series. A thing of the past, was annoying when it happened though.

Apparently not. At first planning to buy Intel 320 for it's relative cheapness (with reliability) before Crucial but this;

8MB Bug AFTER Firmware Update

Changed my decision altogether. :/ Y'know, with the sudden up's and down's of Kota Kinabalu's unreliable electricity grid, having a 8MB afterwards is an uhh, unpleasing experience indeed.

Consumer based SSD is still at it's infancy, but the temptation of speedy apps, oh! Oh ya Crucial gonna release a new firmware for their SSD later this week, just a thumbs up.

While Sandforce get a performance drop once it have to process incompressible data.
This issue wont happen on Samsung controller. Good work Samsung!
Left, incompressible. Right, compressible data

depends on which ssd model u get. some old version/stock is sata II, while mostly new ssd is running under sata III.

not really hard actually. if u got the mola, juz go for it as m4 128gb is at around rm3xx. yes, the storage is low, therefore,i use my ssd as window/program and a few games. the rest music/ document, picture and movie, STEAM will be on slowpoke hdd biggrin.gif

Why don't you install STEAM in SSD? It will be faster loading right?

faster loading on? dun think steam need to load anything except log-in. and as i put steam together with the its games in another partition, therefore no need to backup its steam files when shit happens/format.

steam games library 500gb, no $$ to locate it on SSD and hardly feel any faster on game loading except these few.
BF 3, GTA 4, GW 2 map loading, SC II map loading. which is non-steam games for me.
