Thx for the reply ..😊

Will get the alternator check..

And ya... the reason I might consider of the Jb Det 4 cyl coz it's smoother for the less vibration .. not really that I need more power ..also it's not that pricey for this halfcut

Will try to source out more on the mounting 1st b4 decide.. really need to ask some opinion b4 getting it..

😊😊

as a jb owner, yes it is smooth. even idle you hardly feel vibrations. but on highway you need to rev high in order to get to cruising speed. in town tho, really nice.

I'd still recommend you to use the old engine. the power delivery of the stock engine is better than jb. hp also not a lot diff.

i see.. mine about 14 years already.  Need to topup 2L engine oil for every 1k sad.gif
Not sure if it's still worth to go if change to 1.3cc engine like K3ve/K3vet.

if you want it for normal usage with peace of mind, get a reliable mechanic to get the engine overhaul.

if you have time to waste, it's not your primary car, you don't mind the car lose it weight balance and you're hungry for power, k3ve or with turbo is the answer.

for me, both will be more or less the same amount of money.

You mean "both" :
1. overhaul vs change engine?
or
2. k3ve vs k3vet?

Need advise , just done major service but my car still vibrates when slow moving at 2k rpm

Here’s what I’ve done so far.

Original mounting set change
Timing belt, belt tensioner, all belts
ATF oil, Engine oil
Spark plug, plug seal , cover seal..
Brake pads too....lol
Alternator check no issue.. also grounding done on alternator.
Throttle cleaned

The vibrate only will occur during rpm hit 2k , after driving bout 30minutes, my leg will feel numb...like ant crawls..lol

Really lost already ...dunno how to diagnose..

Should I try decarbonise? Fuel injector change?

Oh god pls help bangwall.gif icon_question.gif

hi all, my original aerosport head unit went kaput already. I'm thinking to change the head unit. I need some advise from all the sifu here. I just want a cheap head unit that serve the same purpose as the original head unit i.e have radio and can link with the original cd changer.

or

does those cheap double din android player worth it?

basically I want to minimize the cost as I only use this car for short drive, so I don't need fancy2 head unit tongue.gif tongue.gif

Got bearing o gear noise on manual kenari. Not sure it's bearing humming o gear meshing noise. Taking it the gearbox requires taking out the engine right? Looks life a lot of work for this repair. What kind of damage am I looking at? I'm surprised to get this problem really as normally manual gearbox will be very reliable.
Didn't use wrong oil, n I hope to get it rectify. Any fallible mechanic for such troubleshooting in klang valley? Pj?

Just overhaul your manual gearbox at p2 SC. The labour is just about rm150 to do overhaul. But to remove the gearbox might need to add a bit more.

Seems price is reasonable for overhaul labourl. U have yours overhauled also? Labour RM 150, add parts, not sure how much then. How much is the final bill?

yes i did for my mom's kelisa. just collected the car today. but it is including the engine overhaul. the engine overhaul labour (which include the removal of the gearbox) is RM600. gearbox overhaul is RM150. the gearbox gasket/seal i think is the item 30-38
