my problem is.. the gearbox shifting is really nice n smooth and the acceleration is still there.. but.. once i applied the brake til it stop.. it vibrate like hell..

*
i would ask you to check if your brake disc has warped, but i dont know if it is related to the acceleration problem.

so thanks for the reply , can you recommend anywhere to get the bodykit ? online shop maybe .. what is the standard price for a rs set .
*
if you are near sunway then velocity is good, or if near shah alam nan's store, next stage garage, csn, well, alot of shops really.

do note that rs set is quite exp, 500 upwards just for the front bumper alone (may not include hid lamp). i would budget rm1k for the whole set (front/side/rear/spoiler w/o painting of course) just to be safe. even i think that is quite stretching it, belum masuk rs hood lagi. rclxub.gif

if you found the one you like do inquire the shop first as rs set do sell quite fast.

thats why i play aerodown only, not enough moolah to play rs/american metal laugh.gif

omg thanks for the detailed reply , haha just wondering ... i dont what year of the kenari you own but mine a being an old one from 2002 theres alot of vibration .. i dont know how to explain this but when idrive nearing the 100-120km/h mark there seems to be alot of vibrating it feels my side mirrors are coming off maybe u know the problem ?
*
mine's older, 2001 laugh.gif well, check if your tyres are good, no bumps and are aligned/balanced properly, rim also not dented. from my experience (not kenari) this is usually the culprit. then if its not the tyres i'll go on to the bearing/dshafts and lastly check the mounting.

In general, what you need for a 1000T?

1.Block EJ with its internals
2.L2/L2S Head
3.What ever pistons of your choices, the larger your balls is the larger mm you'll get
4.The best tuner you can get

Complexity made Simple:
Modify your EJ block to look exactly like your EF block, Use EJ internals (EJ internals are same as 850cc internals) Correct me if i'm wrong. Marry your L2 head and the block, every other thing use back EJ's.

Tadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

jaesern , my engine has started eating oil and i think might be time to change the belts too. should i just rebuild the old engine or would it be more worthwhile changing to l7/l9? should be a little quicker as it got extra 15hp right? not going the k3 route as that need more moolah.

what's your mileage? check on engine compression dry and wet to determine full overhaul or top overhaul.
for me, i'll either rebuild the 989cc stock engine or upgrade to k3ve, since you're changing engine, go up, no point to go down to 660cc even thou it has turbo, no replacement for displacement, you'll suffer when you're on highway.
*
currently at 215k. still running fine just that it has become like a chore to monitor the oil level daily. not that critical tho just need to topup abit maybe 3 weeks or so? hmm..in that case i might as well save money for storia. was into k3vet but alot of friends was having heat problem so maybe k3ve is enough. thanks bro!
