Just now the technician took the "problem" router to me, will replace again by tomolo

Maxis solved their internet issue in SJ area, I can finally online back to normal now. FYI, they called me to verify and also got RM 30 rebate after I request from compensation.

maxis would have gotten a class action suit elsewhere.

in malaysia, if sue maxis,
one is left high and dry,
only a few other choices of isps. as bad if not worse....

Today seem like internet back to normal without changing router, because when the IP issue happened, i couldn't see any connected devices (WiFi and Ethernet) in the Thomson GUI (192.168.1.254),

but ONLY now I can see all of the connected devices. Hope it is truly get back to normal.

you should know better.

some guy asked for a higher level username/password for his thomson router.
maxis helper said that is for them to configure hotspots, settings and not for enduser.
that, my friend, is a backdoor.

Even I used the "back door" (Hard reset, right?), the issue still there, just for temporarily connection, after few hours or up to 1 day, then I have to hard reset again.
