Technicolor (Thompson) product page:
http://www.technicolor.com/en/hi/digital-h...ervice-gateways

For landed property with Fiber into the house, Maxis should provide routers (TG784n, TG784n v3, TG797n v3 for 30Mbps) from the ADSL product range.
For highrise property with VDSL, Maxis should provide routers (TG799vn v2) from the VDSL product range.

From this page you can see that there are multiple versions of the router for a model number. This may explain the v2 v3 confusion. Not 100% sure, just my observation.

Added on October 1, 2012, 1:21 pmFrom 2 pages back, it looks like some users got the TG799vn, without v2. And this TG799vn, besides VDSL, also has a WAN port for connecting to ONT unit. So this unit can also be used for landed FTTH installation.

So far, only TG784n and TG799vn spotted in this thread. Any other users using other model?

Anyone living near Bandar Sri Damansara area can tell me the speed/stability of Maxis FTTH? Because I'm planning to decide between Unifi/Maxis now, but AFAIK speed/stability relies heavily on which area. So thanks biggrin.gif

Why crying for it when it ain't FREE ?
Impossible for Maxis to give complimentary free astro channels to MHF customers.
You probably get a free STB and a dedicated line if you subscribe for Astro IPTV via your existing MHF account.

I noticed my data usage in mylaunchpad not being reset eventhough today is already 2 Oct smile.gif

btw, anyone facing issues with Torrent and PPS? I noticed they blocked mine, as I was able to do it via VPN. Blocked, not throttled.
