Im very noob in resolving this IT thingy. Is it easy to do hard rest on the thomson router?

Added on September 23, 2012, 2:29 amSince this friday nite, i thought someone had hacked my router and block my ip for internet connection to my laptops. My wife scold me what have i done? She says maybe i reset the router few time then jammed. I was like "ok".

Calling stupid maxis maintanance dept regarding this, they never advise me on the hard reset thing or its a malfunction from their site. Just asking me to wait for their call from tech dept.

My TM's Fiberhome modem labels the indicator light as 'PON'. I think this is the same as optical  from other modem manufacturers. But you mentioned above that the Optical LED is OK..so perhaps it's something else..
For my case, it was the modem faulty.

in the morning, laptop was able to connect to wifi. after work, reached home in the evening, found that ipad cannot connect . Turn off and turn on the  modem and router, only then able to connect the ipad. now looks ok, can use my desktop and ipad simultaneously. hope they manage to  find a permanent solution. irritating maxis, all we want is stable and fast internet connection, this also cannot provide

i receive rm60 rebate just for 2.5 days of no internet
