They are on the same size liao. but i have experience on heavy cooler... it tend to bend ur graphics card.... It's the picture that makes it look big. But in real world, it's on the same size as Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 Rev. 2. |

QUOTE(mcmicheal @ Jul 10 2008, 09:20 PM) @sHawTY That's not an ad-trick LOL.Oh man... this is ad trick... I didnt really search for its dimension It's a technic of taking pictures. With the right technic of taking pictures, everything can look bigger than it's supposed to be. Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo is as big as Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 Rev. 2 + Turbo Module. Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo = 350GM. Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 Rev. 2 + Turbo Module = 268GM + 70GM = 338GM. Thus, there's absolutely no differences between Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo & Arctic Cooling Silencer S1 Rev. 2. Although, there's this one small differences that makes Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo better than Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 Rev. 2 + Turbo Module. Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo maximum fan speed is 2000RPM while Arctic Cooling Turbo Module is only 1500RPM. This post has been edited by sHawTY: Jul 10 2008, 10:41 PM |

hmm .... I was hoping it would be small rather than big ...
I really don't get the idea of having this Twin Turbo released when AC S1 is selling very well .. |

QUOTE(Doom @ Jul 10 2008, 11:37 PM) hmm .... I was hoping it would be small rather than big ... There's a few good reason for this actually.I really don't get the idea of having this Twin Turbo released when AC S1 is selling very well .. 1. Some shops doesn't sell Arctic Cooling Turbo Module. They only sell Arctic Cooling S1 alone. 2. Arctic Cooling Turbo Module is kinda expensive. 3. Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo gives you a choice of using active / passive mode anytime you want. The fans can be taken out. [My resources told me that] 4. My guess is that Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo would be cheaper than buying Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 + Turbo Module. i plan to buy either hr-03gt or accelero s1 rev.2 for my 7900gs AGP.... but both coolers made me confuse about their compatibility card list.
this compatible card for accelero s1 rev2:- "Application: nVIDIA: GeForce 9800GTX+, 9800GTX, 9800GT, 9600 GT, 8800GTS(G92), 8800GT, 8600, 8500, 8400, 7950GT, 7900, 7800, 7600, 7300, 6800, 6600 series (except 7X00 GS AGP)" this list taken for hr-o3 gt:- -7100 Series PCI-E Not Compatible -7300 Series PCI-E Not Compatible -7600 Series AGP Not Compatible -7600 Series PCI-E Not Compatible HR-03 Rev.A / V2 -7800 Series AGP Not Compatible -7800 Series PCI-E Okay -7900 Series PCI-E Okay -7950 GT PCI-E Okay so...is this means my 7900gs AGP cannot use both of the model? |
