Need a little feedback from K5 owners regarding the sun roof. Did you tint it? Does the cabin get too hot or bright if left untinted? Any water leaking problems?

You have to make appointment to sevice yr car? At red cube you just send yr car. No need to make appoitment. But you must be there early. Early you send early you go off... biggrin.gif

the glass should come tinted, hence there is no need to tint it, unless you want to top it up tongue.gif

cabin doesnt get hot, because there is a shade closet under the sunroof. so the heat doesnt penetrate in.

so far, never heard any leakage in Kia model (old and new).

Newbie coming to this thread!! tongue.gif

Got my lovely K5 last week from Penang, it is an unit owned by my friend where she must let go her unit to me because she need to work at overseas starting next week.

Fuel Consumption : Not know how many kms i can go for full tank, the AVG Fuel Consumption shown 7.1L/100km at the highway and after few days driving city now increased to 7.6L/100km, i think it might go further.

Just curious, why when I press "reset" button, the AVG Fuel Consumption not showing data after reset or it can't be reset ?

Ride: The ride is awksome! rclxms.gif
Especially with the autocruise the riding at highway make superb easy, my two legs sometimes not working at all rclxm9.gif

I see here someone did the auto folding side mirror with smart key, I am wonder where can I get it done also ?
Will it also void the 5 years warranty we have with this done ?

My friend just sold it to me for the price of RM128K, as this is 2012 manufacture with rear air-cond and since she only use it for less than 5 months and total mileage is about 7000km so I think the price is quite justified. smile.gif

Thanks for your input, however I thought I am not taking any advantage from her since we are good friend, and I would guess if the price for 1 year old optima is depreciate for RM20K or more then the price I bought is not really below market price, adding up the insurance premium is already RM130K. A brand new optima with 55% NCB is about RM141K. So for a half year car I guess RM10K less is quite reasonable. tongue.gif

All, just booked my k5 last Friday, waiting for loan processing.
This forum is the best info for me about k5, from v1 to v3, which also helps me to make up my mind on this. Hopefully loan will approve earlier.

Any idea what is the interest rate like? Need to budget for glow ...hehe...

You've been ripped off...

The more reasonable price is 120k.. depreciation of 20k...
