Want to check with you guys how's ur vios fuel consumption?

I have a very bad fuel consumption where average RM0.17/km.

Where RM60 can go around 360km only.

I just calculated mine yesterday, about RM0.15sen/km (BHP),
M7 Eco fully synthetic. Been driving more aggressively while FC remain the same......
2009 G spec. Stock condition.
How old is your Vios? If new need to break in first only will get reasonable FC.
maybe your driving style?

Mine is about 17 sen/km now. Overall mileage is only about 700km. Will have my 1st service by end of this month.

Should I go for Semi-Syn or Full? Only driving in the city and going to the KLIA once every month.

I think Semi is good enough but if you have the extra budget then why not laugh.gif

A custom sunshade that fits your entire window! No room for the sun to come in. Gives that extra privacy without that heavy tinting. And an extra security layer too in case the windows get broken in.

PM us now to get one set for your Vios now!

Hi all, I am having some issue with my 6mth old vios (5,000km), there's crankling sound coming from the engine sometimes when accelerating. Besides that, there's also rattling sound from the dashboard (near the drawer and behind the meter) also noises from ard the front passenger side door.

When idling, the car seems to be vibrating a little bit when the RPM is near to 0.5.

Anyone got any suggestions to the problem?

Any recommendation which service centre in klang valley is the best for repair the defects?

Thanks!

You can call the service advisor and perhaps to arrange for another check up.
From ur response, it sounded like engine knocking. One of my friend ever encounter this issue and was resolved after he lodge a complain to them.
As for the dahsboard, mine also have the rattling sound but suddenly it's already gone.
A member here ever complain and they manage to solve the issue.

I believe that vios can achieve at least RM0.15/km and below easily..

But RM0.17/km is a bit too high..

vios normally can get .15sen/km easily.
my normal consumption is rm50 around 350KM ( mix drive speed/relax) or 380-400km ( relax )
and the car has done 200,000Km on it. salute to the 1nzfe engine.

for your new cars its normal to have a bit higher FC , due to the engine part getting run-in should be improving by 20,000km.
btw if you have the money go for fully like MObil 1 etc. if not normal Toyota oil semi sync would do. provided change every 7000km would do.my car done 200,000km so far no problem and FC is still the same . NCP42 though.
