How can I set my contact to view phone contact only for DOPOD 818pro using WM5?

Hi, does anyone know where I can get the wired handsfree for the dopod 818 pro ? Mine finally went kaput

Does anyone know what the triangle logo at the top of the screen means? it's just next to the G icon or E icon ... which means GPRS or EDGE ...

the one on top the reception thingy?? tthat's basically the reception symbol.if there's a line,the bars will appear...if got no line, there will be and x on it.

So far I test WM6 with TouchFlo on 818Pro and it's working fine.

I notice the dopod 818, if connect to a website without wifi, it will connect using gprs. How to disable the auto-connect using gprs feature?

go to ur Start>Settings>Connections

Select "Connections", tap at [Advanced] tab, tap at "Select Networks",
At the first dropdown menu, select anything other than your GPRS setting (for me, I select My ISP or My Work Network).

as for ur phone contact.. i dun think u can.. well, at least for me and so far i'm not getting any solutions either..

and for ur chinese chess game.. no idea.. but u can always try to go to this web www.pxdxa.com.. there are a lot of applications..

depend what kinda file.. if the installation file is a .exe, u can run that on ur desktop with ur dopod connected.. if the file is a .cab, u have to copy the file to ur dopod and run it from there.. regarding where to download.. u can always try google for it or search microsoft's website.. sorry ya..

To show only phone contacts and hide sim contacts, you'll have to modify your registries:

Registry: HKeyCurrentUser\ControlPanel\Phone

Key: ShowSim (dWord)

Value: 0 = hide

Soft-reset

[Note: 1 = show]


To completely prevent ur device from connecting thru GPRS, modify the following:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ConnMgr\Providers\ {7C4B7A38-5FF7-4bc1-80F6-5DA7870BB1AA}\Connections \IDEAS Internet (GPRS)\Enabled

Edit the key 'Enabled' by double-tapping or otherwise.

Change its DWORD Data from '1' to '0'.

Go to the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ConnMgr\Providers\ {7C4B7A38-5FF7-4bc1-80F6-5DA7870BB1AA}\Connections \IDEAS WAP (GPRS)\Enabled
Edit the key 'Enabled' by double-tapping or otherwise.

Soft-reset.

Anyone can send me the PDAV_Temp ROM? Rapidshare seems to delete all those link, wanna try flashing to WM6.

just search for it on microsoft website & install. usually its an exe file, just run it on ur pc

I thought WM6 comes with NET CF2, what else you need to install ?

First, verify whether your phone is G3 or G4, then flash the WM5 native AKU2 ROM which comes with the TouchFlo package. After that, flash the PDA Viet Touch Flo ROM

just download the 2 files from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=319206

and follow the instructions by benedict which can be found on page #97, post #1925

basically, determine whether ur device is G3 or G4 then run the file accordingly..
