after PV_Temp has finished and your device rebooted, remember not to sync your device with ActiveSync.. just click [Cancel] and then run PV_4.0.0.0.6_Touch\Upgrade_ROM.bat
just a personal experience.. while the upgrade_rom.bat is running.. do not touch your device's screen (u'll see a "SUCCESS" message) or exit from that MS-DOS window on your PC. i flashed mine for second time..  This post has been edited by boringpig: Aug 30 2007, 06:17 PM |

I got mine flashed to WM6 without CID unlock without any problem. hi jeve ,For those who wanna upgrade their 818pro with Dopod's upcoming WM6 update, I advice you better not. That update is meant for other models which have very different hardware from prophet. I'd rather used PDAVIET WM6, at least it is proven to work with prophet. My WM6 818pro so far so good. Besides eye-candy, one significant imporvement I've noticed is the internal speaker, much louder now as compared to WM5. wat version u are using now ?? 4.0.0.3 ?? is it stable ....any minor bugs? u got msn ?? |

Hi, may i know that the prophet's housing, is it possible to swap with the magician? it's mean 818 pro using o2 Xda II mini housing or mini using 818 pro housing?

i had problem hanging when receive sms and the phone keep vibrating and the sms sound stuck...any solution?

hi i'm a newbie here and i have been using 818 pro for the last few months.
my phone just went haywire last night. it went off by itself and it cannot restart although push the reset button. the screen went blank. this morning i tried restarting again but it stuck at the WM5 splash screen. there's a msg pop says "booting in normal mode..." and it is still stuck. can someone please help me?  |
